Here's Why Rick’s True Nemesis Has Always Been (Evil) Morty

Rick and Morty dropped a major episode for fans who watch Rick and morty week to week, season to season. (SPOILERS) Rick & Morty unexpectedly saw the return of Evil Morty and a storyline cultivated for years by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Rick Sanchez finally finds his nemesis in the new Rick and Morty episode, a huge entry to our Rick and Morty breakdown collection.
The real storyline in Rick and Morty, funny enough, may be just beginning. Rick and Morty S7 has touched on the multiverse several times and has now reintroduced both Rick Prime and Morty Smith, er, “Evil Morty” that is as the central finite curve concept comes back into play. The writers will find a way to create conflict between them. Rick Prime may be Rick's arch nemesis, but that doesn't mean he's the antagonist. This story is about the relationship between Rick and Morty, hence the title, and Evil Morty as a character represents the relationship's dysfunction. Plus, Rick Prime wasn't properly introduced to the audience until season 6. Evil Morty has been around since season 1. Evil Morty has always been THE villain of the show.
