there’s a site called body type calculator for women (or smth like that) and you have to measure your shoulders, bust, waist and hips, insert the info there and they will tell u ur body type. another way is to compare your body to those body types and see which one looks more similar to yours.

Maybe because of your skin tone. I don’t think body “shape” has anything to do with it. Body shape would only affect which jean cut suits you best like skinny or straight cut or flared jeans or mom jeans…etc

I have athletic shape don't like lite color jeans but I always buy dark and lite wash of my favorite jeans and even though same style jeans the darker wash looks better but lite color jeans are for summer and darker winter just in my reality 😊

I don’t wear skinny jeans bc all of the Ones I’ve worn no matter how much my size are always extremely uncomfortable so I switched to baggy (I also switched to baggy bc I hate how big my thighs are) I have “skinny jeans” that are actually jeggings bc the actual jeans are uncomfortable lol

I think it’s non sense. Color has nothing to do with body *shape* maybe if you said the color of the jeans doesn’t suit someone because of skin tone I would’ve been more convinced but this? No. I think it would make more sense if you correlated body shape with jeans cut/shape (wide,flared,straight,skinny..etc)

I am an older hourglass, which means now I have a belly, so, no more hourglass! Lol But I always wondered why light colored jeans and shorts made me look even bigger, but I have stopped trying to make them work for the past couple years. I realized that for my bigger thighs, I need darker jeans, and I entirely avoid capris and long shorts altogether. I look so frumpy in them! I used to think I was hiding my big thighs in long shorts, but they actually emphasize them. Shorter (and darker!) shorts (5 inches) look so much better on me!
