Both is optional. Pops only in Sport+ and the autmented sound should be easy to disable.

It's a BMW muscle car... You need to do a apples to oranges piece on this car... pit it up against a 2019 Zl1 Camaro and/or 2019 GT350R Mustang because they have 3.5-3.6 0 to 60 times, and 2 doors.... why not.. The camaro ZL1 can be had with a 10 speed automatic.... Go all Top Gear on it.

That's still at lower cost than a Tesla X and with waaaaay more fun on tap in the bargain. I have to say though,..I do not like that augmented exhaust noise from inside the car, that would drive me even crazier than I already am! The good thing about it is that I can, apparently, turn it off, and on when I wish. ..................... It is fun though, I know.

So so looks ? The looks are absolutely gorgeous. One of the best looking BMWs. Well as a true BMW fan you must like ugly designes because most of what BMW does is pretty ugly. This one being a rare exception

I’m surprised it doesn’t chime at you the whole the hood is up... I dumped my BMW because I couldn’t handle all the constant chimes that were going off. The seatbelt would chime if it was off and you were parked. Absolutely terrible manufacturer.
