TJ Hunt has recently purchased a British Racing Green G82 BMW M4, which he swept under Sabrina when he bought her an Urus instead. Regardless, TJ has been talking about modifying this car and has frequently mentioned that the kit will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

He wanted to build a street car with a GT3 theme, but they went and chopped out not just the outer skin but inner skin as well some of the structure parts of the car. suspension wise, for the rear wheels to fit the gt3 rear quarter. BMW had to build a tub to accommodate the wheels, so this includes suspension geometry. So what I am wondering is, how would the car drive like a street car on the road the way the are trying to achieve. We make kits to fit a car not a car to fit a kit. And that BMW Gt3 carbon panel they have is not really a body kit, rather replacement panels. And if you go look at the actual bmw m4 GT3 skeleton, the floor and pillers were pretty what's left of the car for that the carbon panels to bolt on. So unless they go and heavily modified that gt3 panel to fit, which they are not. I can only imagine this build becoming a nightmare for them.

As crazy as it may sound, it’s easier to fit the kit to a road car instead of making the racecar a street car. He wants the creature comforts and full interior from the road car and the insane aesthetic from the gt3 car. He said he’d just buy the gt3 car if he didn’t want it to be streetable. I imagine he has the ability to get the funds to do so. I understand his motive though. Being able to see that car on the streets will be a sight to be seen. Unfortunately I’ll probably only ever see pictures lol

@@KAS470 No problem. What a shame to cut up a brand new and pristine M4. I can't understand why he didn't keep the new M4 as is "for his GF" (for himself) and get a slightly damaged cheap M4 to cut up. Considering he will not be reusing any exterior parts except for the roof and if he's lucky, the doors. He also will need to redo the entire suspension unless he will use silly 6 inch spacers on each corner, and also because the stock M4 wheelbase doesn't match the new GT3 body. Besides the shell, doors and drivetrain... everything will need to be changed (mounting points, radiators, etc.). Of course it's his money so he can do whatever the hell he wants. Personally I would have kept the perfect M4 and built the GT3 to sit next to it... and end up with 2 awesome cars.

For the amount of money they paid for the full Gt3 m4 replacement panels. Imo, they should of just replicated the Gt3 kit and made a carbon version of their own mould to fit the car. Butchering that car for the kit to fit is not engineering fit, nor is it going to turn out as a street car. They would of been better off to buy a Gt3 M4 and modified it with street comfort, that would of made more sense and still make a good content imo. Because right now, they've already Butchered the rear quarters and there's no turning back.

U clearly never watch his video’s.. first if all.. the interior of the m4 is orange not tan.. second of all he literally said he’s going to buikd the veilside rx-7 and waiting on parts. He’s probably gonns 3/4 rotor swap it.. he said multiple times he’s not gonna sell the veilside rx-7, so idk where u got the bullshit from that he’s going to sell it.. when he says that in instagram posts it’s to joke around because always make the memes, he’s gonna sell it because it’s BRG.. if you actually watched his video’s you would have known..

Been watching his videos since he sticker bombed the BRZ and the selling theory was based off of him selling his previous two BRG cars. The Huracan was bought and built because he regretted selling the 458 and wanted to build something even better to keep. He still sold it. I actually agree with you and think he won’t sell the Veilside RX7 but I put that information out there because there’s always a chance. In TJ’s videos he always says that he’s a business man first and basically everything’s for sale at the right price. I’m not sure why you felt the need to comment with such negativity. We’re both TJ fans, let’s just chill out and enjoy his new build!
