If a military unit reaches 50% casualty rate or greater it’s considered wiped out and no longer combat effective, casualty rates of 90 & 95% are unheard of in modern warfare because no commanders are stupid enough to allow that to happen, except Russia of course because of their extreme incompetence. Spetznaz is no way comparable to US Special Forces, US Navy SEALS or US Marine Raiders, they are not even close to being as well trained, well equipped or in the physical shape of American SF but what they are is utterly ruthless and brutally trained. US intelligence says it will take 10 years to build Spetznaz back to where it was prior to the Ukrainian war and since the Russian Federation most likely will be a failed state & dissolved by then so we could very well be seeing the last Spetznaz forces ever but one thing is certain they are no longer a viable fighting unit and are most likely being used as small unit leaders for the poorly trained & equipped Russian mobilized forces.
