I purchased my SKX009 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. Yes, the bracelet is jiggly off the wrist, but oh so comfortable on the wrist.

Great commentary, great watch, I completely agree, that'w why I went with the Strapcode super jubilee, better clasp and solid endlinks. The Seiko SKX007 is like going to Grandmas. it doesn't look the best, its not the latest, but its just comfortable and feel homely!

Long Island watch makes an excellent metal jubilee for SKX, solid end links and milled clasp, they even give you a screw driver that fit the screws perfectly (Scews, not pin and collar links) and thick spring bars that fit better than Seiko spring bars. $59.00 a no brainer.

I have a Seiko 7002 on the same bracelet. I wish it had solid end links. LongIslandWatch carries several Strapcode bracelets with solid end links and UncleSeiko also has some great bracelets for the Skx series as well.

You can stop the second hand. I have with mine, by holding it while holding the crown. I do this to hold it at zero, to sycronize...

Correct & also Incorrect. On the new models you pull the crown out fully, push the top and bottom pushers together and hold till the large center Chronograph hand makes 1 quick rotation, release the buttons and use the top pusher to advance the center Chronograph hand to the desired position Edit- I’m speaking of zeroing out the hands. I believe you are correct on the hacking. I don’t believe the newest models will allow for it. 👍

I went with the SKX011j with the orange face. The unloved SKX but being a fan of orange and different i had to go that way. Strapcode has solid endlinks on their bracelets.

Excellent review. I have two 94 7002’s. One all original Pepsi model and one black model with heavy submariner mods. They are both amazing watches and both are worn on jubilee bracelets. These bracelets may feel a bit cheap but the comfort is unparalleled.

Ok....You can stop the econds hand for accurate setting. Just needs backing the crown a little, like a speedy. The jubilee is so comfortable. I own many much more expensive watches but I have to say I love this watch. Its fabulous in every way. Get one. If its your only watch its just the best and very accurate. best worn as an only watch . It does not like to compete :). I love the chintsy and sloppy bracelet. I have a Rolex 14060 with the old bracelelt with hollow links. Had it 20 years, never broken or let me down ...it just the same as the SKX jubilee. I have many better aftermarket bracelets for the SKX. This is the best.

I've always been a G-SHOCK wearer up until 2 years ago. Bought a 009 then a 007. I'm a minimalist and prefer something simple. Really like both watchers.

The only thing I don’t like about my SKX is the chapter ring alignment it’s slightly off or so it seems with the dial and bezel insert. It also seems like the chapter ring moves slightly if you tap on the side of the case. It’s not a major problem and I still love the watch the lume is fun to look at in the dark.

Whoa i don't seem to have that problem with the chapter ring moving. However, I also explained in a review that the chapter ring IS in fact misaligned. Mine is misaligned at the 6oclock mark.

I have zero issues with my jubilee 👍👍PS to People that don't know watches Seiko is one of the best watches for the price you can own. If you want a higher end watch check out grand Seiko "better than Rolex" the just lack the great marketing, but they are getting better with that

Totally agree. Grand Seiko is regarded as some of the best and STILL very under rated. Fantastic Line of timepieces! I’ve completely fallen for this bracelet on the SKX. And of course I’ve also fallen completely for the SKX too. This has become one of very few GO TO pieces I own. Thanks for the comments 👍

I’ve just been looking at picking up a 009 (Pepsi bezel) and price I’m seeing is already climbing on them from a former $250 to a current $300-$400. I’d say pick one up sooner than later as it does seem now that the Skx007 & Skx009 are both now permanently discontinued. People with them are going to try to cash out like usual :/ At least till the market settles itself.
