Count me in the list of those who own and love this bracelet. It's a massive upgrade. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that it was a major hassle to get the thing on the watch. It's such a tight fit, that the spring bars didn't want to find the holes. The good thing is that I have not had any desire to take it off, and I used to swap straps on my skx009 frequently.

Recently acquired my first 007 and was surprised at it's etherial yet practical beauty. My passion began with a 009 in the early eighties and has a tortuos path bringing me back to this most common timepiece. You get a 60 second timer, 60 minute and 12 hour timer to boot. Thanks for the video Mark. It was really helpful. I received my Strapcode Super Oyster Bracelet from Island Watch this morning to replace the silicone strap on my Seiko SKX007 Divers Watch. Boy were those two Seiko springbars difficult to remove! Despite having a Bergeon Springbar Removal Tool, I simply couldn't get purchase on the shoulder of the springbar where it fits into the watch lug. In the end, I used a Stanley Knife. The Stanley blade was thin enough to fit between the springbar shoulder and the watch lug. Both springbars then came out easily. Fitting the Strapcode Bracelet to the watch was way easier. Furthermore, it was super easy to remove a couple of links in the bracelet and achieve a really comfortable fit. Now that it's been fitted, the bracelet looks as if it was supplied with the watch. It integrates perfectly with the SKX007, improves the overall look, is excellent quality and I'm delighted.

Bob Harding-Williams try using dental floss. It's a very quick and easy way to remove spring bars and it will not scratch your watch.

Great video. I have my skx007 on a strapcode endmill bracelet with the wetsuit ratchet buckle. I feel this is the best fit for this watch. The endmill bracelet's round links really compliments the round sides of the skx housing and just looks it was made for this watch.. Also the wetsuit ratchet buckle is only like $15 more and it is such a reflief having the ability to size the bracelet exactly how you want it at any time during the day. My wrist expands when i'm hot and I often find myself giving my bracelet a click out during the day for the best comfort.

The SNZF17 comes with an oyster bracelet already, but it felt cheap and flimsy compared to others, so I swapped it out for a Spectre NATO and I cannot stress enough how great these Seiko divers look on a NATO. The "discount" sites sell them at affordable prices and all sizes and I'm sure that the 007 or 009 would look fantastic on the NATO. Just my opinion as a Seiko owner.

STRIX yes, the super oyster bracelet. Fantastic upgrade. There are different model numbers for the orient ray and Seiko since the end links are different. But both have the same style bracelet.

Great job Mark, enjoy you'[re channel alot. Hands down the strapcode is one of the best straps you can get for the seiko diver and many others, my only complaint is they don't taper very much and what happens in my opinion is it feels like you're wearing alot metal and that huge clasp under the wrist jesus christ feels like a seat belt buckle. I don't own a rolex or omega, but i think they have the right idea when they taper down their bracelets from a 22 lug down to a 18mm clasp. It just feels better. First thing i do when i get a new seiko diver is ditch the 22mm strap and replace it with a 20mm or 19mm strapcode. I also think if you compared the look of the 22 vs the smaller size strap you might be surprised at how much better it looks .

I was extremely happy with it and your customer service is amazing, you hooked me up with some links after I emailed you that I messed up with some links as I was sizing it. Okay guys be warned! I bought this SKX with the super oyster from long island watch, and i MUCH prefer the stock jubilee bracelet! The strapcode bracelet makes the watch SIGNIFICANTLY heavier. Too heavy for me. Im 165lb and 6ft. It also makes the lug to lug much wider, making the watch seem bigger. If you have medium/ small wrists you will not be able to pull off the SKX with this Oyster bracelet! The stock jubilee is amazing. Just my opinion though, everyones different. Hope it helps!

thanks for a great info, I notice the oyster gets smelly too even if you just wash your hands, the stock oem jubilee don't need cleaning and still no smell after years of wearing it, how I wish they fix the center links like they weld it, but as I see if you size it properly it last a long time

I like jubilees for lighter watches and oysters for heavier watches such as the Seiko Turtle. I recently purchased a Seiko SSB031 and put an inexpensive after market jubilee bracelet on it. After a couple days I can already tell the buckle might not go the distance. (Thirty bucks; duel deployment buttons with safety clip; inner links appear to be solid.) So, couple questions about your better quality jubilees. First, are they heavier than most others? Second, are they still nice and "floppy?"

I have a seiko sports 200 m kinetic SKJ 001P it has 22mm lug width but the pin holes appear to be a smaller diameter Can’t seem to get other pins to seat in the case holes, does this make sense? Great channel Mark

I personally own the Super Jubilee on an otherwise stock SKX007. I love it. I'm highly considering quite a few mods including double-domed sapphire with ceramic bezel insert in a polished Atlas One from dr.seikostain. I might also go with some modded hands and dial, but I'm not sure yet.

I have an all original 7002-7009 Seiko manufactured in 1990 with 22mm lugs. I believe it is the predecessor to the SKX. Can Mark or anyone else tell me if the oyster strap for the SKX is compatible with my case? I have emailed Strapcode and they said they had never tried it with my case.

I have a Super Jubilee on my 007 and find the edges on the links a bit sharp. Actually hurts a bit when your wrist swells in the heat. So I have to wear the bracelet a bit looser than the stock one. Also the finish on the lock and clasp is not smooth. Lots of sharp edges. I asked my watchmaker to polish the edges a bit smoother. Is this only on mine or have others found the same?

Do they make a screw on pin for the Marathon WW194013 Swiss Made Military Issue Milspec Navigator Quartz Watch with Date and Tritium? I was told you can push the pin out however, in time the hole will not hold the pin in very well. A screw in version would be ideal. Thank you.
