@@imagina711 Don't you think it's hypocritical to say "wish girls could grow up with this type of beauty acceptance" when what you've praised is that Lindsey's make up doesn't look like make up? You're only really voicing acceptance for a certain type of make-up and even sorta disguised it as praising "natural" beauty. I too prefer the type of look you almost don't realize is achieved through make-up even though it definitely require make-up, but I want there to broad acceptance of both heavy, discrete and no make-up even if I have my preferences.

@@oOPPHOo that is fair point. There IS beauty in the dramatic makeup (been a freelance actress since age 3 and we have to use the stuff) and there is beauty in the simple. I just wish that the simple WAS as easily accepted. I know kids who if they don't have contour on, they feel ugly :( and it just depresses me. They are all of course beautiful but instead of embracing their natural face's features, they all just want to paint over and look like the Kardashians; sometimes erasing everything that makes them uniquely them. There is a time and a place where both makeup styles should get to shine. And your right, there is still beauty in the celebrity, dramatic, makeup looks! Heck! Drag queens literally rewrite their faces every day and that is fascinating to watch! And these same kids I spoke of earlier; they also are hella skilled with their makeup. I deeeeef did not look like that at their age 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣 And of course I know she has makeup on 😊 I just love that it was applied to look more natural. She doesn't have to look like an airbrushed magazine cover to be beautiful. That message is one that kids who feel ugly and struggle with body image could benefit from.

@@rdr6686 I think I have to wake you up: 1) If this is loosely based on old mythologies then the person is either a hermaphrodite or a man in drag 2) In the old mythologies when people changed their gender, it was by a 'magic', mystical powers, etc changing the body and the mind. It was not like nowadays when some people just need to identify. 3) Xena's scripts were written in the '90 where all these concepts about gender identification were not ready for public tv.
