Okay Brother, recording in 4k is good as the video will still retain the quality or 4k even after exporting at 1080p. Exporting in 4k won’t matter for shorts/reels. For long form it does. You can export it in 4k as well. Reducing exposure will bring down any highlights that are blown up by the phone.

I use capcut to edit reels and export them at 30fps and 1080p. When I upload a reel on a side account that I made to check the quality of the reel when it uploads before uploading on my actual account, the quality is same as the one I exported (very good quality) but when I upload this same reel on my Instagram business account, the quality becomes so poor. The reel becomes so blurry and soft. I think we can never understand how instagram works. So annoyed 😫

It depends on the screen you are watching. And you have to export in 4k to get 4k.

When the bitrate is 30 then the video get larger size ... From Instagram side ( 60 sec video must be lessthan 65mp) but bitrate is 30 how will manage video size ..?????

Instagram has no restriction on size.
