"Madness of crowds"? Ever heard of Minority Conversion Theory? The ideas proposed by NCF are noble, but there is zero conceptual structure other than a negative one.

@@klakier19901 When something you love is set aflame your response will always be negative in its persuasion. That doesn't make it any less necessary or noble as you put it. When a nation of peace is threatened it must respond in kind or lose its peace. @@herodotus4272 The vibrancy of your once great culture is gone, and memories of former glories won't restore it. Of course, everything you mention is true. Under specific assumption. Assumption that it is complete, perfect information zero-sum game, that is where everyone is equally educated and skilled. But the "public discourse", for what it is today, has never in history been further from this assumption, as truth is predecated on brain-stem-determined "geltungsansprüche". In such setting a negative proposition simply wanes in the noise. By positive/negative I don't mean emotion, but the ideological content - affirming or negating certain notions. When your home is aflame, the battle already finished. It is faaar too late for war-cries. It is time to quench, rebuild and strategise a counter. But those with agency today are the ones with mindset for advisors.

@@klakier19901 That's absolute trash talk and I don't mean in terms of divisive rhetoric but purely in terms of the falisy of its origins. Your obviously a troll that has zero idea of the great people, ideas and culture that Britian is still contributing to the world. To quench with who's fluid and for who's pallet? You preach like Biden, it's time for unity! But only when people unify around your beliefs and your ethos. No you are wrong, the left is wrong and socialists as a whole are flawed in nature and concept. We are gracious and we are glorious, we are great and victorious, invented the modern world and maintain it, create democracy and defend it. I wish we could say the same of the French... who are still so intent on pushing their idiotic ideas in the EU. "All the worst ideas in history were French" (David Starkey) and the tragedy of the EU is that the Germans bought into some of these more recent ideas in the mistaken belief that this would grant them readmittance to the human race after WW2.

Strong economy. Strong currency, came second in terms strongest currencies in the world. Sports is going well, 3 world Cup finals in the last decade. One win. Record success at school. Succession from a totalitarian, Marxist regime ; The EU. Largest military budget in 31 years. Regulation cutting and more well thought through legislation. Finally completing our fight set by Osborne over the deficit. (2018) In terms of National debt to GDP its very low all things considered. Especially compared to nations like France, USA, Italy even Germany. The USA and France are at some horrendous level 135-155%. Record levels of house building. It's a continued nuclear power. Top 5 in world tech. A stables government with several years minimum left in power. The resurgence of Aero and Auto industry. A decent national security, with the second SOTA Aircraft carrier to enter service soon. Record low Abject poverty levels. Thriving Finance and Weapons sectors. With one being voted best up and comer (Clark Industries). Large rises of median income. Solid infrastructure. Tax and duty cutss where possible Housing Market is super Bull. Excellent healthcare. Fuel costs are 22% less than 15 years ago. Was leading the world in the Vaccine rollout with 25% vaccinated before the US qnd Europe were at 5%. These are off the top of my head but there are tonnes I've missed out. Of course there are many areas that aren't going well or need improving but to say its a failing state is .. its just incorrect to say the least.

It used to fascinate me how the Americans were so patriotic and flew their flag everywhere. I came to understand that they were rightly proud, because they had to fight, to create their country. Whereas the UK and Britain, just slowly evolved. We had to defend our country and suceeded many times, but we did not have to snatch it from tyranny. Times have changed. We are under attack from within. We have welcomed the world into our country and are being thanked, by them wanting to destroy everything that made us Great. Now is the time to fly our flag proudly.

Don't forget James Clerk Maxwell, his equations were hugely important. Einstein thought he was as important as Newton. This from wiki: "On the centenary of Maxwell's birthday, Einstein described Maxwell's work as the "most profound and the most fruitful that physics has experienced since the time of Newton".[8] Einstein, when he visited the University of Cambridge in 1922, was told by his host that he had done great things because he stood on Newton's shoulders; Einstein replied: "No I don't. I stand on the shoulders of Maxwell.""

I'm most proud of my ancestors. Without their hardwork, risk and sacrifice we wouldn't be in such a dominant position. Look at how a 'lower class' person lived 40 years ago. Then 80 years ago. 150 years ago. The reason you can have a big screen tv, a nice smartphone, half decent clothes and possibly have enough for a hobby or a few drinks throughout the week and have protection as a country is because of them over hundreds of years. All we have to do is not f*ck it up... God save the Queen. 🇬🇧

The future for our British grandchildren tomorrow will be immeasurably happier and more secure if we today respect the work, the sacrifices, the achievements of our ancestors yesterday, and look on them with gratitude and not, as some would have, with self-righteous condemnation.

Some of British history, like all world nations, has some history that some would prefer to erase. If we cannot learn from past mistakes, then future generations will emulate those mistakes with dire consequences. Be proud of our nation and put GREAT once more before Britain. I am fed up with hearing about the UK. It should be spoken out as GREAT BRITAIN.

The list of great inventions and people Peter gave is probably only one percent of what Great Britain has given to the world. A more thorough and detailed examination of this would make a great programme albeit a very long one.

My partner and I were discussing this recently... What is the best way to manipulate and subjugate an individual (not something I have ever experienced myself, but I know many who sadly have) be it a co-worker, an employee, a child, a classmate a sexual partner or anything else? Make them feel small and ashamed of themselves. This is nothing but mind games on a scale hitherto unheard of. This is all about fear and control, at the cost of truth, order and identity. Which also leads me to the conclusion that we are a very powerful nation and "they" know it.
