think women...real women...were never protected...just the appearence of it. And I always despised all the efforts to put us on pedastals because it was always clear that they tried to put us up high, ready for a big fall. And I am a feminist....in the traditional sence... and I am a tomb boy who was always jealous of how boys were treated in comparison and my having a vagina meant that I wasn't allowed to join in....I would have given anything as a child to be a boy. But as a woman I realize that there can be wisdom in having a womans body with male hormones. I am a loyal wife and mother and all this woke stuff came as a very obvious manipulative threat to the most beloved men in my life, I always worried that women would be blamed in general for the actions of a few vicious or ignorant woman that championed my cause against my will to put all the wrong words in our mouths.....they spoke for us, fought our battles for us, made us victims automatically by birth...how much more oppressed can we get? Check my internet history and find an endless barrage of scrutiny againt these women and their evil causes....me too had me furious and I'm a survivor of some trully horrible things....but we werent fighting the sick men that use suffering for entertainment....we were all too busy looking at poor rich womens arses that got pinched 20 years ago. If that's all they could come up with, then they don't know how lucky they are. While they cry about some rich old man propositioning those extremely attractive young women, we ignore girls chained to beds in basements. Besides woke women hate tomb boys unless we agree we need a penis :) and my husband is fairly open minded, as am I, but I don't think I even want to figure out who goes on top in this scenario :) Think it's safe to say that if your a stripper, you cant cry for 20 years every time a customer tried to squeeze your big naked boobes 2 inches from their nose. If you act like a whore then its safe to say that many men will assume that you are....thats why men in dresses are usually a lot more whorish than women...because these are no consiquences for them if they do....and that's why they don't desserve all the protections and curtesies offered to women...because they can't get made pregnant by every drunk a hole that might not stop when you resist.... and how much more likely this becomes depending on how you dress and conduct yourself in public.

My point is that women's attitudes change when they have a son to protect. Would you find a similar attitude acceptable in men? Can men without daughters ignore a woman who has been raped and not come to her aid? Can a man without daughters demand that women pay an equal share of taxation? No I suspect you would find such attitude abhorrent. So why is it acceptable for women to hold these divergent attitudes?

Femunism has NEVER been about equality! Take couverture; women got to keep their property in marriage but men had to share their wealth with the family e.g. alimony. The vote; women won politic a l power but never had the obligation of defending the political system with military conscription. The workplace; women wanted equality and maternity leave. How much parental leave did men enjoy? None - not what women wanted. No demands for equality in the areas women do not want -prison, homelessness, early death, child alienation etc.

In 1990, I became a widower with an eight year old child. In those days and, so far as I am aware now, a widowed mother, no matter her circumstances, was entitled to far more state assistance than a widowed father, no matter his circumstances. I mention this to highlight yet another example of how various authorities discriminate against men in favour of women and how long this has been the case. Many thanks for this video. It is long overdue for society to take a long, hard look at the injustices handed out to men.

My son was in the air force and his best friend ended up in a divorce case and accusations were made by the wife which were later found to be untrue. However; the settlement and maintenance awarded to the wife was so steep it made my son's friend personally bankrupt. I don't know about today, but back then it was illegal to be personally bankrupt in the military, so he lost the job he loved, and the air force lost a man they spent lots of money and time training. It upsets my son to this day and he has never married.

@@joansolomon1194 - well yes up to a point, but the main political response is to up the ante with immigration from 3rd world countries, that just happen culture's with a less Feminist driven agenda. In Australia before covid we had 1 million a year immigration rate on a 22 million population base, in 3 years, we "achieved" a population of 25 million. Over 40% of Australians were "born overseas". The net effect of female empowerment has been a collapse of motherhood with the Caucassians. Indeed a lot of young men from broken homes genuinely fear making a family commitment, so the sarcastic Feminist msg becomes: a bidding of the geldings to go forth and multiply. The patterns of tradition have been demonised and now a few generations later we see the result.

Ann Widdecombe is a legend, one of the very few people I would follow into a dragon's den. Men are leaving traditional roles in droves because, frankly, any benefits are massively outweighed by today's risks. Single motherhood has become so financially incentivised and a whole raft of industries have sprung up to support that. Men are considered guilty, regardless of any supporting evidence, and a few choice words can ruin a man for life. The trouble today is the ongoing competition to be the biggest victim - by definition you are either oppressed, or an oppressor... Raising a generation of weak men will be disastrous for all, especially for women.

It's always been like this. I remember an incident when I was at boarding school back in 1978 as an 8 year-old when one of the girls punched me at a dinner table because I refused to engage her in an argument she wanted. A teacher saw this and punished both of us, I explained to the teacher that it was her who hit me - he agreed and said "But I will look stupid if I only punish her". The next day in assembly the minus points were read out in which I was given some minus points. I had to work off the points by sweeping the courtyard. This is just a small example showing that this is not a new phenomenon.

He was pleased that i had done it , but a bit miffed it was a girl , i hadn't told him that bit . We laugh about now , but i never had anymore problems , from anyone after that . First up, I thank you Ann Widdecombe for doing this item exposing the injustice. Our child services had to pay my side some compensation because of innuendo. Innuendo sounds insignificant, any yet in today’s world an innuendo equals an assertive allegation in effect and result. I will also add that between us guys and the compensation payer, are lawyers, and no funds get past lawyers. Our case was one where mother was violently abusing the children. First I tried bringing help into the family, but found that mothers violence is not recognised by authorities. I could not leave and save the children, and so I stayed - at least I could get emergency medical for the kids when I get home from work. It came to a head one morning eight years later when mum almost killed one daughter (8yrs old). I called police, and the constable shamed me for calling him, after all, women spend so long with the kids and so kids will annoy mothers enough to justify the violence. The government funded my wife’s side of the case, and broke my life in many ways, not just financially. Like your interviewee, I watched as my ?FRIENDS? Ran for the hills never to be seen again. Our private medical and other files were all betrayed despite privacy assurances. Although my wife had a record of 8 years harming the children, all was blamed on my “Unusual manner of domination, POWER and CONTROL” check out the Duluth wheel of Power and control, under which males cannot ever be victim. Feminists love that bit of tripe. The state took my family away into 24/7 parenting supervision and support, while the male crunching activists tightened their lies against me. My daughter’s did not crack during “(so called) Evidential interviews” - they recount being bullied by social-workers to say what would be assured to put me in prison as a sex offender. My daughter’s words “Come on your Dad did this . . . didn’t he - admit it” she recounts that was over and over for long enough that some women had time to leave and return smelling of tobacco smoke. State are child abusers. And despite my wife's record of harm and my record of taking the kids to hospital, I lost (lies won) every court application up until my wife demonstrated her harm to the children while remote from me and under state care. So much so the state returned the case to court, a fresh judge, a judge who bothered to read the file, a judge who reversed custody in my (the kids) favour. However as everybody knows (wink) men are not good nurturers and so to get custody I had to agree to walk out on my job, and not work. For the kids sake I agreed, but I never was earning again. I lost the house and all assets. Grandma (my mum) died upon hearing the false allegations - never saw me exonerated. We survived on welfare out of op-shops. The war cry of these hypocritical lying state and NGO employees is “we only have the children’s best interests at heart!” nothing could be further from reality in fact. They are disgraceful and deserving of utter condemnation, and also imprisonment themselves. After all their attacks on family are also attacks on our culture, our communities, and our futures.

@@rohroh6256 Thanks - but our case is long over. I talk candidly about it in a faint hope I can wake some folks up to reality and hopefully make a positive difference by exposing it. You see, I am so lucky. I could not win the case even though all the facts and reality were in my favour - LUCKY that my wife shot herself down. Lucky also that my wife did not support the sexual false allegation, those were feminist inventions. I say - be careful. But both my kids are female and I got to raise them on my own. As such I have followed their development and problems - including when their femininity is rejected by feminism on account that they dare mention that women are also violent. They become "non-women" in feminism's view. For my part I understand how hard it is for males. And through my girls I get to see the confused and feminised condition of the males they encounter. Boys are raised to defend and help their mothers, and not their fathers. And then there are the mother's new partners, and many of those are a threat to the kids safety.

Women have always had more opportunities than men. Men had access to the opportunities created by other men and shared some of these with women e.g. women had jobs in male owned factories in the 1800s. However, what opportunities for women or men were created by women? Name an industry, major company, science, major institution etc created and developed by women? Take sport as an example - all the major sports were created and developed by men. When they became successful women demanded, and were given, access. Now we have women's tennis, women's soccer, women's basketball etc. Odd women have never demanded access to the unpopular sports e.g. tiddly winks! Name a sport created and developed by women, offering opportunities for men? What has stopped women creating and developing sports? Nothing. Even Netball probably the nearest thing is just an offshoot of the male game of basketball. It has near zero participation by men. Indeed in a recent competition in Australia the 1 team of men were booed off the pitch by the female crowds! No the reason women have had a lower share of opportunities is they did little to create any of the opportunities. In my country mining is a big, male dominated industry. It was founded by men going into the desert with a shovel and an donkey load of supplies. No women risked their lives in this dangerous occupation. The women were happy to sit back and demand an equal share of the profits though, never the losses!

Women have their true equality now, they can spill their blood in an infantry battalion next to a bloke in close quarter battle with a bayonet if unfortunate to be in such a scenario. How much more equality do you want? It's gone so woke the opportunity had to be opened up, but I guarantee very few women will take it up knowing the physical intensity of close quarter war fighting knowing that in reality, women are not physical equipped for the role which demands it! Few will, but yes, equality is not the goal, it's superiority, and I say mission accomplished.

The VAWG strategy, that labels male victims of abuse as "victims of violence against women and girls"; the Victims Commissioner and Domestic Abuse Commissioner, who actively fight against the recognition of male victims; the fact that men get far longer sentences for the same crimes compared with women; the fact that homeless women are being treated preferentially, even though men are 80% of rough sleepers; the fact that male victims of domesric abuse only receive 1% of funding, while they are over 35% of victims; boys are taught to ask for consent but girls are not; female perpetrated sexual violence is almost completely ignored; this list could go on forever. I got offered the same job about 6 months after initially applying when they fired her not turning up to work (her role being essential for the functioning of the business), they even went as far as to suggest she could rest her head and relax on the job and just deal with technical issues whenever they emerged (as opposed to performing the hard labour of preventative maintenance). When I took up the job the co-workers had nothing nice to say about her. I'm a pretty strong guy in my young twenties at the time, but that job was physically exhausting (try climbing up and down a ladder with a 40kg motor that is as hot as a kettle). there's just no way she was going to be able to do that.

I lost my brother to suicide. As his marriage failed, she said he would never see the children again, it was too much for him to bare. As a man he knew he had no chance in court. This was back in the early 1990's, it would appear things have not improved at all.

It's not just on this issue that minority interest groups rule the roost. Many other major issues in Britain, and the rest of the Anglo Saxon world it seems, are dictated by tiny unelected pressure groups. This has happened because we now have so many incompetent clone career politicians who will not think for themselves and that is the result of the two main parties now pre-selecting parliamentary candidates from which constituency parties then have to choose. They are invariably selected because of their 'correct' views, reinforcing the centralised control of the parties, and candidates' perceived maleability. Add to that the first-past-the-post system of election and you have the political stagnation we now endure, where important issues like the corruption and unfairness of the family courts, and many other equally important issues, aren't even discussed let alone addressed.

Problem is, men don't complain. On numerous occasions I've single-handedly stopped misandristic advertising campaigns with a single email complaint. Advertisers and sponsors are our way of evening up the media bias and by threatening to boycott their products we can fight back. Next time you see a sexist TV programme don't complain to the broadcaster, complain by email to the advertisers and sponsors.

I caught my ex wife, three days into developing an affair on facebook. I decided to leave her, even though she hadn't slept with him. I couldn't trust her anymore, because she refused to accept what she was up to, preventing a basis for any reconciliation. She systematically destroyed my life, she made up elaborate stories based only on a single fibre of truth...very insidious and manipulative behaviour. After driving a wedge between me and my children, she would whisper to me in private "I'm too clever for you".

Reporting from the multiple time mentioned exemplar of equality, Finland: Men are denied help starting right with emergency services. If you call the emergency number due to being abused by your spouse, they won’t dispatch help. Instead they’ll direct you to leave the premises, which will allow the abuser to take over the home and the children. You’ll be directed to a safe-house for women, manned by women. The safe house, after explaining the cycle of abuse to you, expects you to just leave and begin renting a new apartment. All along the way everyone will be concerned with if you may have been violent in return, even once. Childcare services or social services aren’t interested in acting if you’re a male victim of abuse, instead they will find that the children are safe with their mother after she claims she is getting help for her mental problems. Even as she uses the children as a way of getting to you when she can’t directly harm you. As a male, you’ll be paying for all expenses for both households _and_ taking care of the children practically full time while your spouse collects all government support and expects to keep your home while demanding alimony also. Alimony in Finland does not require a court order. After being shuffled from one county lawyer to the next three times (each will begin their task without any preceding knowledge of what the previous lawyer did), after becoming exhausted and broke, you finally cave in desperation and take up your last county lawyer’s suggestion that in order to have a chance of negotiating for a fairer situation with the children (one where you’re recognized as a co-parent, even though the children live with you practically full time and not the mother), you should give in to the mother’s demands to keep all your property while taking on some of the debt for your shared home. After dealing this fatal blow to equitably sharing what was built together over a number of years, your wife now owns everything and is officially the children’s primary custodian. Your lawyer then says they will go on leave, and you’ll end up waiting for months before you see yet another lawyer, who like their predecessors is completely clueless about your situation. You are broke and in debt, and your wife moves to another city with the children. Now you can see them when she deems it ok, and the childcare services and county officials say a biweekly living arrangement probably isn’t tenable any more due to the distance. Any people who may have begun to clue in on what your abusive spouse was doing lack jurisdiction, because she got away to a new county and in Finland the county line is where your responsibilities end. This concludes my report. It has been six years now.

Speaking as someone who ACTUALLY experienced a violent relationship (and am happy NOT to receive any child support from the father), I'm not consoled by knowing that many women are actually rewarded for making it all up just so that they can get a better financial deal and make sure the father can't see his child. In fact, apart from being an injustice to the father, it's an added insult to people like me because it belittles real abuse, real rape, real discrimination etc. When will those in charge of society start realising that you don't undo one injustice by perpetrating the opposite one. All you do is create more injustice.

Your contribution does make a poignant point, apart from migrating the issue away from men and make it female and victim centric, (Which ironically is part of the problem). What adds to the injustice is, yes real victims. It is an insult with such manipulations. It is offensive to observe. Yet onlookers of it say and do nothing. Men don't identity with other men as a group, the only group who are going to change the perpetuating victimhood of women are women like Anne Whitacombe, since women generally "feel" so hard done by in a patriarchy and white male privilege, abused etc...it's never going to happen, even when we talk about it, it soon gets switched in conversation...."enough talk of men being being victims, us women are the REAL victims!" Watch women when it does. It's like a pack of hyenas taking down their prey when someone starts speak pro men! I'm employing grotesque levels of hyperbole to make a point, but it reminds me of conversations with military pilots "Enough of talking about you, let's talk about me!" Would be the remark we'd often mock them for! I'll be accused of bullying a woman now, I'm not. I'm trying to make a point in principle. I do empathise and sympathise with anyone who has suffered abuse. It does destroy you as a person. You have my sympathy for the abuse you have suffered, equally so, so does EVERY woman and man who has too, but the men who suffer it often have their voices drowned out by the laughter for doing so or the shouts of...."Us women get the real abuse"....distraction from the issue.

@@brianwareham2933 I don't consider myself to be a victim because doing so is unhealthy. I do get slightly uncomfortable when specific groups of people such a "women", "trans", "ethnic minorities", "people on the autism spectrum" and even "men" begin to talk in a "them-and-us" way with "us" being the victims and "them" being everyone who's not in the right tribe. This focus on one group being the victim of another is only divisive and completely counter-productive. It's what pressure groups have been doing for the last few decades, and we can see the end result in society now. We CANNOT solve this problem by using the same victim tactics that got us here. I mentioned my own background not to change the subject or "(God forbid) to make myself out as a victim. My point was that we are ALL worse of when ANY group of people are discriminated against.

@@sarahpiaggio2693 Sounds like it when you use words such as "not consoled" and "added insult". Appears grievance like language to me. I do not want to devalue your experience, nor do I disagree with your view on false claimers devaluing your claims, because I find it an insult and an injustice to real victims too. The question is, what are you going going to do about it? My brother has been in and out of the family courts for 7 years now, I assist my brother for representing himself in court and we're providing the anecdotal evidence to support the case this video makes, who's gonna do something about it? We're fighting the fight on the front line, who's gonna take up the issue and make politicians listen, or does someone have to go on a rampage and kill people or throw purple powder in the house of commons for things to change? It's only when people resort to such measures do the wankers in Westminster pay any attention. Now hearing Vincent McGovern, his experiences of a system which denies access to allegations and evidence, along with the presumption of guilt are so familiar to me also. I liked his mention in relation to the children's relationships with extended families on both sides. I identify so much with his experiences, but will add that children are damaged in so many ways by these processes and biases. Our children have never recovered physically, emotionally or relationship wise. Sadly its not just the effect on us and the kids, but I observe that the extended families could be described as going to war against each other with the kids interests left abandoned between. My wife's family blames me, and my family blames her and hers - while both forget the tender hearts of the children trying to negotiate between. They puff on about the "Children's best interests!" but in fact have zero regard for the children's interests, other than a weapon to exploit. My daughters are now adult - one profoundly damaged and disabled for life, the other (was a rag-doll compliant baby) is now a wealthy professional - and they hardly talk together. That is another consequential dynamic that never gets realised, because compliant blames the spirited adventurous one for mothers disorder and the family destruction. Family violence prejudice / activism is a curse that just keeps on giving and giving. Oddly enough these are not uncommon stories, yet like car crashes, most folks think it only happens to other folks. Yet from my position, you all are vulnerable. You might not empathise until you wake up in this nightmare yourself, and then you too will be alarmed, abandoned, find yourself a suspect non-entity. We never understand how that can happen in a civilised Just world. As a bonus, I ask this provoking question: "What becomes of profoundly damaged children when they turn seventeen?" Well I know. Those new graduates into late teens, cease to have exploitation value to the anti-family, anti-male gender activists and the STATE ministries they control. From that point on they are abandoned, no assistance to help them get by in life, to heal the damaged skeletons, their brain injuries, their psychological wounds. No!, they are deemed dysfunctional adults who have no excuse for whatever problem they are left with. The systems and those driving these policies disgust me.
