Girl, you are on fire🔥! Blessings on all your plans. I love day lilies. I have a whole flower bed full of them. They need to be separated so badly but I’m unable to do it. I hope to be able to get a landscaper in the spring to redo my whole front yard. I am hoping to include some edibles in there. Just not sure what yet. I really miss seeing y’all but understand you’ve got things to do. You gotta strike while the iron’s hot. Give Little Miss Sunshine a hug for me & tell her to give you a hug from me, too. Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️😁🙏

I have a heart leaf philadendron that my Mother gave me. It is over 27 years old, and she is now in Heaven. I rooted stems from it for my daughter and my sisters to have. That plant has been with me through some life changes. It reminds me of my Mother's love for gardening and her love for her family. Amanda, what you are doing is priceless. I feel like God is going to bless you in a mighty way. If I lived nearby, I would surely visit you at the market!

I really think thats a great idea. I think the idea of passing on ones knowledge and ability to help future generations and also using talents to help others is admirable. I love to hear the sounds in your videos it reminds me of growing up in MS. The Northland is very quiet outdoors compared to the south.

Good to see you back again. I can see the excitement in your eyes. I understand your love of the soil. My parents grew flowers for the local florists in huge greenhouses. I worked in them for years. I also inherited the love of growing things. You will do well. There will be a demand for anything you can grow. Go for it. The market is there. God will help you and provide what you need. Looking forward to updates.

Did you buy some property or are you still on your friend's land?If your are on your friend's land how can you say you are starting a farm while on someone else's property.Buying your own place is moving forward.
@HearthandDome4 жыл бұрын
Great question! Most farmers don't own their land anymore unless they inherit it. Today's 1st generation farmers predominantly lease the land they farm, as I am. There are also some amazing examples of small scale farmers who are making full time incomes on just a few acres or less! Curtis Stone is a great example! :) I'll purchase my own property someday but right now it isn't a priority. Creating a sustainable business model that will pay for it's own land in the future is. Thanks for asking! :)
@penelopepenobscot44754 жыл бұрын
I own land and lease a portion of it to 2 young men who farm it. They are farmers, I am a landowner.
@mssmgirl14 жыл бұрын
You go girl! You don't have to own the property to make it produce.
