Thank you Maya. I enjoyed this very much, as I have all your other videos. Always exciting to see the new season arrivals. Very little is showing on the Australian website as yet so your previews are a great treat and an opportunity to get over the initial ‘..I love them all..” reaction before they arrive in store.

Appreciate your feedback, Robyn. It’s interesting to take a peek, especially as different color ways and designs are rolled out in the various regions. I had to laugh at your “I love them all” comment; I feel the same way at first, then come back to reality when I realize that I can’t have them all 😂

For “The beach” you mentioned about klusko the dog, I think that belongs to Janbajitlik

Hi Maya. Do new designs continue to appear throughout the year on Hermès website? I am new to their online site. If yes, is the best thing to do is to continue to check online? I also signed up for their newsletter. Thanks for the information.

Hi Lily, great question. Generally they issue the new scarf collections twice a year: spring/summer and fall/winter. It seems that what’s on the website and when can vary tremendously by region. But overall, I’ve noticed that the S/S start appearing early in new year and F/W in the summertime. If you’re in the US, note that it’s usually a narrower slice online of what’s available (both designs and color ways) than in other regions. Hope that helps!

These are among my favourite of your vids Maya … so interesting and I love seeing what is coming our way as I am in Canada and some of the designs don’t launch here until weeks or months after the US launches … you mentioned Kluska with the Hermes on the Beach scarf but I thought he was Jan Bajtlik’s dog … I’m pretty sure I saw a pic of him wearing animapolis (such a bougie pup hahaha) and I thought that was one of the puzzles in the animapolis scarf in that Kluska appears 18 times throughout the print … I have not yet found all of them … I have the ltd edition UK version of this that helped benefit the NSPCC … I absolutely love looking at this beautiful artwork … I think I am addicted to Jan … I am contemplating the e’popee d’hermes 70 … his work speaks to me !

Thank you, Denise, you are so right about Kluska being Jan Bajtlik’s dog 🐶 but I do quite love that Hermes on the Beach design! It sounds like you’ve found a style that calls to you. Hope you find your preferred color way of L’epopee 🙌

Thank you very much for this video. If you were to start again, what size scarf and colourway would you opt for. Newbie here, want to get started, but need to get a lot of bang for my money. Much appreciated.🥰

Thanks for your comments and question, Clare. My first H scarf was a 90x90 which I still think are the best bang for the money (relatively speaking) among the scarf types. As for color, I suggest you look at your wardrobe for any predominant colors and choose a scarf that will be complementary to that palette. My first was mostly navy, but also had reds, yellows, greens and even brown in it, so I could wear it with just about anything. That’s going to be key for you: finding something versatile that you can wear with anything, or at least as much as possible! 😉 Good luck!

Hi Maya, always very interesting comments and descriptions. All beautiful and like Faubourg 140cm very much. Personally find cashmere shawls very practical for all seasons. Do you know why Hermes features wild cats and monkeys on their scarves? Perhaps you have already covered this in your videos. I see it all the time in their prints as well as in their china and wonder why is so popular in their repertoire. Thanks 👋

Thanks for your comments, Martha. Totally agree with you about the cashmeres and what a great observation and question about the wild cats and monkeys. For the latter, I always just assumed it was for the textures and stripes, and as for the monkeys, well, let’s just say they have many fans as well. 😍🐵 I’ll see if I can find out more.
