Puzzlewood was my local "playground" from about the age of 7 to 10. It was no doubt privately owned; but this was the 1960's, when you went out in the morning and came home when it was getting dark. Living in Oz now; so it was very nostalgic to see it again. Thank you.

Great video yet again, There are some lovely places to visit around the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire also, I agree with you that the view from Symonds Yat Rock is absolutely spectacular we were there earlier this year, Bet you were both knackered as you must have walked a fair few miles that day.

Yes, Mark we were very tired. Great place, lots to do. Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed it 👍

Nicely done and enjoying your dry sense of humour. I am hoping to go to Puzzlewood in the next couple of weeks, hoping it's fairly empty of people as it does look rather magical. Also hoping to buy a campervan/motorhome in the not too distant future and go and live in that for some time, needs a lot of planning but I see perfectly possible if approached correctly.

Thanks @janetjacks3406 👍👍. I hope you find the right motorhome for yourself. Let me know what you buy in the end. Enjoy Puzzlewood 👍👍

@@HermanHitstheRoad I've been advised to avoid Ford (chassis not so good) and Mercedes. Yours looks nice though but you can do so much with them, put in a diesel heater, solar, good lithium leisure batteries and even hook them up to the car EV charging points with the right cable! I am being rinsed with rent and council tax so its a no brainer and spending 90 days in Spain in winter the dream if poss.

Avoid Mercedes? I've only heard good things about them

Loved the look of that camp site. The area looks amazing and has been added to our ever growing places to visit. Really liking the drone shots. Take care Gill

When you walked down from King Arthur's Cave you weren't far from some quite large open iron workings. Was there a few years back looking at some very early firesetting evidence indicating they are a lot older than first suspected 👍 Done quite a bit of exploring underground round there. Extensive mining remains near Puzzlewood too 🙂

That sound very interesting, Alex. Down by the river I did see a couple of old fire pits but they where probably kids so not as exciting 🤣👍

Forest of Dean is not Wales. It's Gloucestershire, England. The Doward falls under Herefordshire, so again is England not Wales. The bridge is the Biblins bridge. The Saracens head are still a law until themselves I see. Lovely video though.

Okay, I'll bite. What are you filming with there? A drone? If it's a drone, you must be awfully good with it. I bought a drone through three times and crashed into a tree and now it's broken. Luckily I bought a used drone. But I loved it so much that I went and bought a new drone. This is just a mavic mini just so you don't think I'm a millionaire. Still, if you're filming with a drone, how do you prevent it from crashing into trees and things? You must be very good with it. Or is it a fancy drone that can avoid obstacles?

It's a 360 camera on a long selfie stick, Matthew but the software removes the stick.
