Totally agree with you on your takes on both bags! I live in Southern California and my style is pretty casual, so Birkin 25 fits so well, but also the fact that my Kelly 25 is in retourne style, it also makes me using it more. I don’t gravitate around my K28 sellier much because it’s more of a formal look. The only one that is easier in sellier is the mini Kelly that really can be wear casually or more formally without the strap. My Hermès bags, are all bags that will stay with me forever. I don’t know if I will add more at this point, but I love them all, that’s for sure!

I’m a total b25 girl to the point that I have never requested a k25 😹 it’s that LA car life! It’s just so good with the birkin - casual, relaxed but makes a statement!!!

This is a great video!! A lot of people like to compare these two bags but to me, there is a clear winner for my lifestyle. 🙈 Like you, I’m from Southern California and my Birkin 25 is what I gravitate towards. I have the Kelly 25 in Sellier, which makes it WAY more formal and difficult to wear on a day-to-day basis. The Kelly 25 in Sellier doesn’t fit as much as the Birkin 25 but when I do need something more formal, I love that bag. I think your Blair-Serena analogy was very spot on 😂😂😂 my girlfriends compare me to Serena and this feels accurate 🤪

I completely agree with what you said about the feeling the Hermès bags give you. It's great that they bring you so much joy! 💖 I like both bags and couldn't decide... Am I more Blair or Serena? 🤔 I have a Kelly 28 retourné, which I would compare to the Birkin 25 retourné rather than the two 25's. My Kelly measures only 27 cm and is therefore almost as large as the Birkin.

Yes it’s interesting how the retourne /sellier factor changes the size so much! My k28 sellier feels more like a B30!

I have a kelly 25 sellier in gris pale and a few days ago was able to get a Birkin 25 black with gold hardware. I compared the sizes and the sellier kelly is same as birkin 25. Maybe when they turn the kelly inside out for the retourne style, it gets smaller??? I'm also from So Cal and see myself using the birkin more because it's more casual. But i really wanted a sellier kelly because I think it's just so beautiful. Instead of a kelly in retourne, I would love a kelly danse. I mentioned this to my S.A. But I will probably never get it. Doesnt hurt to keep hoping.

when i 1st began to watch you I recall you saying you weren't a pony girl and only focusing on Chanel. however, after the beautiful bags you have received from Hermes, all I can say is pony up lil lady lol because for those stunning colors we riding that pony lol. One thing I realized when I tried the B 25 and 30 in pairs is how little the 25 really is, in videos it's very deceiving. I am a Birkin girl, however when you described it as serena vs blair, I am a blair but I can't stand how fuzzy it is to get in and out of the kelly. I like an open space. tote girl for life.
