thank you for your reviews! just tried this - used to use 24 Fabourg and then Eau de Mervailles - years ago. I do love this scent so far.. just purchased the smaller sample size spray. I haven't tried the original. Yes, I do not get too much ginger but there is a very young vibe to it which keeps it fresh to my inexpert nose. I sometimes do get a powdery something something underlying in other Hermes perfumes and it can sometimes come off "grandmotherly" (nothing wrong w/ being a nana) with my particular body chemistry. This does not. Thank you again!

I have a rhinitis and can't really have perfume without sneezing a lot and ending having headache in just a span of minutes. But this twilly eau ginger is just so subtle yet so delicious and sweet that suprisingly I am now using it after my husband agreed it smelled really nice. For a man who doesn't like women wearing overpowering perfumes, we just agreed on this one. Loving it🥰

Thanks for this! I actually laughed out loud when you reacted to the press release, l.o.l! If it's fizzy but not too harsh, maybe I should try it. Then again, if it's also mediocre as some of you imply, then maybe I won't bother. The original certainly was brilliant, and I would probably be wearing it (or perhaps Eau Poivree) if I could wear powdery notes!

For what it’s worth, I’d say the original is superior. Thanks for watching.

@@Persolaise I think you're right! I still remember smelling the original Twilly in the airport years ago and liking it. It might have been the ginger that caught my attention, but it was definitely charming as a whole! Must re-visit that one as well. Thanks!

Have not tried this yet but a Fragrantica editor mentioned some screechiness and I'm like: "Uh oh!" Ms. Nagel's signature seems to be this certain texture that sometimes come off as screechy which I've loathe in Sir la Lagune, L'Ombre and H24. I sense a texture in the original Twilly as well but, at least, it worked with the sandalwood. Now, I'm really curious to test this one. Thanks, Mr. P, as always!

i love this scent after it has dried down but on initial spray i am not a fan. I can't place what i'm smelling in the initial spray but I found it overbearing. I like the gentle sparkle when it settles. I don't get any ginger. The name doesn't seem appropriate imo

I’m with you on this. I just got my mine today & when I first sprayed it, I thought it was too much & didn’t get the ginger. After it settled onto my skin for some time, it smelled more pleasant but sadly I still don’t get the ginger :(

I’m curious do any of these smell like alien fusion!? The first one sounds like it may? My problem for finding a replacement (since of course Loreal decided to stop making it and instead they’re making 100 Alien Goddess flankers! 😢 ) Perfumes I might want have the ginger and white florals but they’re missing cinnamon!? 😢😢 I was hoping this one or the original may be a similar scent?

I have a sample of the original coming in the mail - can't wait! Love the bottle, so 60s. I actually thought this perfume is inspired by Twiggy! I've heard other KZbinrs say the 2nd flanker is VERY gingery. But you don't get that ginger explosion? Hmm, maybe I have to try it too... Look-wise, I think I actually prefer the white cap and yellowish glass over the other two!
