I think you want the landing from the jump to feel like it is pushing the block down. So I'd reduce the delay by 3-4 ticks. You want to land on the block with it still up but you don't want a delay before it then goes down so it feels like one motion.

Game idea: what if you turned using an enchanting table into a game of archery where with each target you hit another bookshelf pops up around the table. You could build a cool redstone target practice in the enchanting room so every time you have to enchant something you need to hit all the targets (one per bookcase) in order to enchant at level 30. Each time you are successful it dispenses 3 lapis to your player so you have to press a button to reset the bookshelves every time to get the lapis to use the table.

For some reason, when I saw from the title that you built a Hermit powered furnace, I thought it would be powered by their timely/untimely deaths as they fell into it. But, making them sweat their butts off to cook is a healthy alternative than just sitting there waiting for the furnace to cook. Great job as always!

Not sure if this is something you would want, but if you find it helpful: For Dig Down of the Day, you could set an ender peal stasis chamber (with something like a daylight sensor at the top) before you go down. This way (although you may need to wait a bit) you always have a way back up with your goodies!
@aubni10 ай бұрын
Quick suggestion for the randomness of the game, instead of having a set time between attempts to start a fire, you could make a randomiser that accumulates items until you reach a certain power threshold. That way, you could have a bit more control over the length of time between two fires and avoid long streaks without fires.

Maybe zed is the right hermit for this idea! I have an awesome minigame idea and i really want a hermit to build it. Its super simple, here goes! Find a spawner (ideally zombie) near tbe surfaces, completely expose it to the sun, and give maybe 5 blocks on each side of it, then fences to keep the zombies in. Next build a big canopy way up in the sky over it so that its dark, but you still have lots of room above it. Now build platforms on 2 opposing sides, or all 4 about 15ish blocks up and over from the zombie area Finally build a big water funnel and backboard behind and above each of those platforms. Now the game is built. Heres how you play. Get a few people to be each team, they stand on one of the platforms and zombies randomly spawn in. Their objective is to coordinate grabbing zombies with fishing rods, and then yeeting them into the basketball net behind their platform. You play the game for a few minutes and whichever team has yeeted the most zombies into their net at the end of the timer wins.

Oh my goodness this is incredible. That's so much better than the old jumpy furnace - you've channeled the vibes of something like Overcooked and turned it into an entirely new, incredible experience I noticed in the credits you said that you're looking for game ideas, and I've got two I was kinda popping around! One would be to make a carrot farm infested by some kind of mob, perhaps silverfish, and in order to harvest your carrots you'd need to play a game of whack-a-mole to get rid of the infestation! The other is slightly inspired by your pitch drop experiment - there'd be a reward window where you can access what the farm produces, but it only opens for 10 minutes every few real-world hours, so you need to keep track of when the next time it opens will be and make your way back there within that short window

Digdown of the day tip from a spedrunner. You could use flowing water and doors to make the hole and have a reliable way to get out. Basically have a water source flow into your hole from above and constantly place doors on each block you're standing (offhand helps so you only hold both clicks). I'd suggest getting 6 doors, 3 should be the minimum for it to work consistenly but sometimes you don't pick the broken doors back on time
