You said you wanted to make farms into games, so I'd like to propose the Cactus Atlas. What if you made a farm where all the sand blocks that the cacti need grow on are themselves rested on cacti. I’m imagining a large pillar of alternating cactus and sand blocks. You must break the cacti to harvest them, but if you break the right cactus, the load bearing Cactus Atlas, the whole sand cacti tower will collapse which harvests all of the cactus at once. Perhaps you could create some redstone system to randomize which part of the cactus tower breaks when you interact with the farm.

Hey Zed. An idea for your storage system game. Any item placed in the storage system has a 1 in 10 chance of being dropped on cactus. But also a 1 in 10 of winning. When you win, it spits out a random number of diamonds. This is the only way to take diamonds out of the storage system.

Idea: lock all enchantments behind specific tasks to unlock them. Examples:maybe to unlock feather falling you have to do a water bucket clutch from world height, or to unlock mending you have to reach lv 50, or to unlock efficiency you have to fill a chest with a block(can be any block). The difficulty can be adjusted of course and once you unlock an enchantment, you can use that enchantment for the rest of the season

One cool idea you should do for the locked hotbar challenge is a doubling cost so this challenge lasts longer. First slot is 1 diamond, second is 2, third is 4, fourth is 8, etc. You might not even have your full hotbar till pretty far in the season so it's an actual amazing achievement!

Hey Zedaph! Idk if your gonna see this but i wanna post it before i forget. You should build an iron golem colosseum! An iron farm which drops an injured golems into an arena that you have to fight to properly earn your iron! Or you could set it up as a game, like a wave defense thing were hermits see how long they can last in the arena!

Concepts for an enchanting mini-game, both of which rely on the idea of using pistons to push bookshelves up to get enchanting set-ups. Echanting Ball-Toss (Name Pending): Throw snowballs at targets to get bookshelves to pop up to complete an enchanting set-up. (A similar idea would be to do something like this with storage, where you have to hit the targets corresponding to the storage/items you want) Enchanting Roulette (Name Pending): Randomize how many bookshelves get pushed up each time, using the image of the enchanting set-up as a roulette wheel, maybe with lights around it that turn on and off in a loop. This is probably more complex and less feasible.

Something based on tango's Sticky Bombs minigame from S7, where you have to catch items sliding down a honey wall using a fishing rod. Use the concept as a lapiz dispenser for an enchanting setup, or as the item collection for a farm. Sheep/wool farm game: Sheep in minecarts zooming around, Zed with shears chasing the sheep.

Zed, I am glad you were my first Hermitcraft season 10 video! This was such a Zedaph video and I love it! It amazes me how unique and quirky your let's play is and I am here for it. Thank you and looking forward to another long season. If you are taking suggestions at some point you should race everyone you meet to their destination. You could put on your track suit and challenge everyone to a race or just ask them where they are going and not tell them it is a race.

This video kind of reminds me of people who say Minecraft has gone boring and stale, because how can you say that when people like Zed are out there pitching crazy fun ideas! The no hotbar challenge really stumped me for a second, but seeing him working his way through made me truly appreciate all the game tricks that you can utilize without a single tool :D That journey of getting a diamond was so surreal, I'm seriously amazed at the dedication of deciding to use creepers explosion instead of using TNT which has a 100% drop rate. Can't wait to see what this season has in store!

Survival gamify ideas: 1: Either hand out or perform one quest to/for another hermit per episode. Don't forget the quest reward! 1.1: Perhaps successful quests unlock certain items for you. For instance maybe you have to perform a quest for each potion type in order to be able to use it. 2: Possibly too complex, but: Keep track of your favorability with other hermits (maybe limited to 5 other hermits?) depending on interactions you have with them. Both negative and positive interactions are possible. Higher favorability makes you more inclined to help them or offer them better rewards for any quests they do for you. Lower favorability makes you less inclined to help or increases the price of any help that you offer. 3: Reach certain XP levels in order to upgrade the level of gear you're allowed to use. As an example (feel free to adjust however you see fit) you have to reach level 15 XP to be able to use leather gear. Level 30 unlocks iron. Level 45: enchantments on iron gear. Level 60 diamond gear. Level 75 enchantments on diamond gear. Another option might be to set the levels lower but if you die then you have to reach each level again to use the gear. 4: You have a pet that levels up with you over several episodes and through various quests. It starts out as a pig, then becomes a strider, then a lama, then a donkey, then a horse and finally a beautiful set of totally living symbiotic wings. In case of death or the wings getting destroyed, they require a certain period of time to grow back. 5: You require training montages to improve your weapon skills. You have to visit various masters and train under them in order to gain access to better and better weapons. A master may at any point after this require you to demonstrate your skills and should you fail their test they may revoke your permission to use their weapon. (Think both in terms of weapon material and in terms of enchantments.) 6: You require tools in order to craft more complex types of blocks or items. Basic items can be crafted before getting the tools. Tools are per type of block/item. Examples of types: wood, metal, stone, cloth, food, redstone, plants, etc. The tools can only be acquired through quests. (Obviously don't make this too ridiculous.)

DIg straight down is an Etho trait that kills the unsuspecting person later. Are you going to plug the top of the holes off later? Also you need flying cows/pigs/chickens to shoot with a flame bow in order to get your cooked food. Idea for making something a game: After going on a resource gathering trip you have to sort all the resources in a certain time period. Anything you have not sorted in that time, gets sacrificed. Anyway videos amazing zedaph. This is the first time watching you and it made my day a whole lot better.

Survival Gamified: Chicken Farm, At the top there is a pen of chickens and below them is a hopper minecart system to pick up the eggs and move the eggs to dispensers. When you flick the lever to start the game the new chickens from the eggs will be tossed back and forth and all around. The goal is to shoot the chickens in the air while they are bouncing around the room with slime blocks.
