Hi Armin, in my opinion the best bow is the one you love shooting every day :) besides that, SANLIDA is putting out great stuff for a while now! Even theyr compoundbows are awesome (Dragon 10, Dragon 9).... An A-Bomb for the Bucks. Beste Grüße

Really should check that the bow has some positive tiller for shooting split finger. Setting it up properly could quieten the bow considerably. Fitting a nock wouldn't hurt too.

Certainly a nice bow. if ordering from the UK then be prepared to add a hefty $100 for shipping. I believe the $299 price mentioned includes shipping and taxes to US only.

My best bow for every situation is the Raptor RX from Simon's bow😍😍

Hi, Vincent. I'm sure that the Raptor RX is a GREAT bow, but we're talking "apples and oranges" here when it comes to price. On Simon's webpage, the Raptor is currently listed at €890.00. The Sanlida Hermit is a a mere €278.

If you get a chance, Armin, I hope you'll obtain and review a Junxing Pharos II ILF hunting recurve. It is VERY much like the Sanlida Hermit in almost every respects and, frankly, I would like to hear what you see and feel when you shoot the the Hermit. Right now, I can't decide which one to buy! Thanks, Chris

For this bow I really like the low grip. But the best bow is the one I feel like shooting on any particular day.-That string is D97 Fast Flight.

Nice one if you like ILF ones for sure more trustworthy than the one reviewed yesterday. Still nothing for me because it’s made in China, want to support and buy from local bow makers instead.

nice bow, but always use a bow stringer because cabone and foam lims can be twisted very easily (in my club someone twisted Uukha 100 limbs....)

Hi. I am thinking about getting this bow. I usually use a rest. But I remember from a long time ago when I shot a lot (before I had to stop shooting) I used to glue a shelf pad and pad in the cutout. That was before I knew about Velcro. What do you use? Is the material available on Amazon? Or where? Thanks. Great video. You are the second Archer I have seen on a video who recommends this bow. Now I am anxious to get one. I have a cheaper bow for bowfishing so the Sanlida will be my target/hunting bow. ***Cant find one anywhere)

What characteristics make for a good hunting bow? What is a good asiatic hunting bow? They must have been used for both war and hunting. This X10 was 60" is a shorter bow better?

Armin could have squeezed his fingers into that glove thus avoiding all the fiddling with the too big glove.

Hi! In term of ilf bow, did you ever tried the bosen limbs ? The super recurve ones seem to be pretty interesting.

I´ve got a Sanlida XYCG 40# Hill Style long bow and quite like it. Up to now I´m not into the ILF bows. Too noisy and too much bells and whistles, imho. "ILF hunting bow" seemed a kind of oxymoron.. But this bow seems to be... good. Still a bit on the noisy side, but with some silencers, it could be interesting.

Hi, Armin. Because the Hermit X10 is on the short list for my next recurve, I was VERY interested in your review. Ironically, many of the words you used to describe this bow's performance are EXACTLY the same ones used by Jeff Phillips of the KZbin channel "Instinctive Addiction Archery." You were both extremely pleased with thisSanlida hunting recurve. Just one thing: I watched your video twice (including once in slow motion!) but I didn't hear you mention even once the draw weight of the bow you tested, (as it arrived from the factory). Could you let us know? It would help us put into context the chronograph speeds you recorded. Keep up the great work, Chris (Maine, USA)

Hello, Armin. I am in the process of learning about archery. Can you tell what was the noise coming from at 6:47, when you shake the bow a little? Is the natural sound made by the limbs without a string?
@space.youtube
@space.youtube 4 ай бұрын
The noise is quite normal for an unstrung ILF bow.

Guys, can you help me? I am looking for a first bow, but my draw is 33,5-34 inch(I am tall). I was thinking about 72 or maybe 74 olympic bow, but 27 riser and xl limbs are not so cheap, so I am thinking - if I ll buy this bow, which is 60 with 19 riser, and couple this limbs with regular 25inch riser. Can I get necessary draw or it doesn’t work this way?
@davidingram7808
@davidingram7808 3 ай бұрын
Hello, if you use the longer riser, the limbs will lose around 20% draw weigh, but I'm not sure about that much draw length. The only bow I own that is capable of a 34in draw length is my Majesty. It's 53in long and 40#. However, it's a Korean style, thumb draw bow. It works great for my long draw length.
