Iskall's "off-camera voice" trick is really quite brilliant, the fact that Iskall immediately caught onto Beef lowering his guard when he stopped using his "on-camera voice" is impressive. And then using it in an attempt to lower Welsknight's guard for a trap is such a great move. (If I'm referencing a video you haven't seen, Iskall posts a lot of behind the scenes stuff on Vodskall85. Its more or less just more Iskall content with the same shenanigans we've come to expect from his normal videos.)

I don't to assume things but I just feel some kind of tension between them. They barely interact for many seasons and when they do it feels forced. In season 6 they weren't like this.

The history is simple. Nothing bad happened. Iskall wanted to collab with Grian in S7 again after the success of Sahara and Grian said no because he didn’t want to do the same thing over and over. (that was then, now he does the same thing over and over and over and…) Then Grian and Iskall went from talking irl to not talking and now it’s been years since. They haven’t done anything together. Part of the problem was that Iskall went through hell in the last couple of years and his old friends weren’t there for him. But Stress, his best friend was. And False, and Etho, and he made new friends via VHsmp like Hbomb, Hrry, CaptainSparklez, etc. Iskall has decided to use S10 as a way to seek out those he hasn’t played with in awhile (Mumbo, Scar, Grian). So he’s putting in the work. It’s nice to see that despite the awkwardness, it’ll inevitably get better.

Yes, the house is horrendous, BUT: Its creation brought up some GREAT collab moments, big fun, and so many laughter that its a beautiful piece of art: Not the optical result, but the way towards it! Fishing in Minecraft is so relaxing. I once played on an open SMP, and one night, I just sat there for some hours and was just fishing. At some point an admin was online, and was checking around. And he also sad that he never witnessed someone just fishing, but also thought it seemed so relaxing. I can totally see why everyone joins Grian in his fishing obsession...
