It wouldn't change much. Doc currently enforces that 60% of the wood permits require sands. If False duplicates one of his permits, it drops to 40% (assuming she manage to keep up with the demands). And that's without accounting for bamboo, plus hermits like Xisuma who will have their own tree farm and hermits like Cleo who enjoy farming trees by hand. It's significant, but it's not like it would "undermine his entire business plan". Big Salmon, by refusing to negotiate, already does most of the damage to his business plan. Admittedly, if she really wanted to go at war against Doc, the most effective target would probably be the armour trim permit that he recently obtained. False could just buy a copy of each kind of "difficult to get" armour trim from Doc (so not having to explore the world to get them) and then use her Joker permit to resell copies of them against diamond instead of sand.

​@@MoiMagnus1er, I find it interesting that Doc gave up his flowers and dies permit, considering that it would be a good one for monopoly, since it gets the entire market with a single permit, differently from wood, and people might buy through the season, differently from the trims that would be bought once or twice for each armour piece.

​@@MoiMagnus1er I find Bamboo an interesting oversight in the "Big Wood Monopoly". Bamboo is just so easy to farm, and with autocrafting it is objectively the best wood type for crafting chests and redstone components. (Definitely one of the major wood uses) As far as decoration goes, big salmon has the most "decorative" wood types with 4. Coincidentally those are the 4 most painful trees to farm/chop. Doc's best wood is probably spruce, its easy to farm (especially automatically) and is incredibly popular for decoration. I think the real reason doc didn't bother with bamboo is he only went aftwr the wood monopoly because he has a cool tree farm he wants to build. And he's playing up the evil role again. Bamboo doesn't go in a typical treefarm, you either make a field or a few bonemeal based farms. (Flying machine, rows with pistons, or a bamboozler)

you could maybe convince beef to put a river between himself and iskall? he values the aesthetics of his land, so it would have to be placed carefully, but i feel like if you pitched it as providing more distance from iskall it could work. alternatively, you could probably convince beef to put a river through iskall's house, and relatedly could probably also convince iskall to put a river through beef's house. other than that: everyone is boating this season! suggest rivers for boat accessibility reasons and they'll be popular!

Hey False as an idea on a sales tactic for your shop, I have a feeling glow lichen won't sell very much, because it takes almost no effort to bone meal your own. and for that reason it will be hard to sell, because everyone can set up a farm for it themselves. So instead I purpose this. You sell the concrete for 5 Diamonds for 1 stack. and you sell the Glow Lichen for 3 Diamonds for 1 stack, but when they make a purchase of glow lichen, they are allowed to take 10 concrete blocks of any colour they want for free, for each transaction sold. So this way if they buy 18 diamonds worth of glow lichen that will be 60 complementary blocks of concrete they are allow to take for free. (I wouldn't advertise this detail in the last sentence to the hermits, otherwise it kinda breaks the illusion of the deal for them.) So rather than making 5 diamonds a stack for your concrete you could make 18 for almost the same amount. and it would help you sell the lichen. The goal of this, is to make them think they are getting a good deal when they are buying, because they are comparing it to the price of what the concrete is selling for, and they think buying the Glow Lichen to get free concrete is the cheaper option. and you walk away with 2 diamond blocks for each sale you make, if that makes sense. *(If they are trying to get nearly a stack of concrete for free through Glow Lichen purchases that is)* You could also do the same for other items you think will sell a lot vs the ones that have less demand. I can't predict where this will lead for you. but it should at least give you more sales and make you some diamonds in the process, I think that this could set you up for success. Good luck False :D

I mean, having rivers as borders is just plain good strategy. You'll have not only the opportunity to build cool docks and bridges (or tunnels) but you will then also control access points to your area. What's not to like? And easy access to prime fishing spots. Fishing do seem to be a thing this season.

You could make a parody company and advertise offering cruises or the scenery offered by such cruises "from the comfort of your own home".
