I'm particularly bothered by wasted food, so I'm never a fan of these hot wing challenges where people just take a bite and throw away the rest. Seeing you mow down the whole thing made you the true hero of the day for me, haha

​@@neloy4200OP didn't judge the others for wasting food, only that it _bothered them._ This is a class / generational thing, btw-my grandfather grew up in poverty during the Great Depression and, while he was a generous man, nothing would set him off quite like finding out that one of his progeny _didn't use a coupon._

It was so fun looking back on the charity event, and seeing how generous Hermit fans are. I still think my favourite moment has to have been how unbothered you were by the heat of the wings and Iskall's "What is wrong with you joseph". Cracks me up every time.

Yessss I'm so happy we get another reading of the difference between sound and music!... At least. I THINK it's a new read? I swear I first heard that poem during S8 and v much enjoyed it :D So much fun to have some Gamer's Outreach moments immortalised in video as well, the spinning portal transition threw me for a loop almost as hard as when the hermits all walked onto the stream in Michigan ^^

I was super excited to finally see clear video footage of the entire donation wall posted on KZbin, but after scanning over it three times now, it looks like my $50 donation is missing entirely :( I even have the receipt with the "Name on a sign" reward listed on it. Absolutely so glad first and foremost there was such a huge turnout for the kids!! But I'm still a little disheartened to find my name never got up there

@@SilentMeteorite confirmed with GO and fixing. A small percentage of transactions apparently didn’t process and show up in their dashboard immediately. This was caught in an audit I wasn’t in the loop on until now, so I’m just gonna get those signs up since I was over here looking for your name anyway. Keep an eye on tumblr for screenshots once I am done later tonight. Thanks again!

my family went from columbus, oh to de graff, oh for the eclipse and had incredibly little traffic. we encountered like two busy intersections the whole day. i think lots of people just went to the corner of columbus that would see totality, and so they'd cleared out by the time we got there

i also got stuck in the great greater toledo area eclipse traffic event. i ended up backroading it home but again, it was literally cars in front of me, cars behind me, about 20mph. it was really surprising though because it was at least 8pm by the time i left and even attempted to go anywhere near that area and i was assuming it would have cleared a bit by then, but no apparently not.

So people work with charities like Gamer's Outreach because they work with creators to make these events big. I see. So that's why nobody supports smaller charities that actually need the funding more, like things that might actually save lives, including those of people who suffer from conditions that don't get much or any support, like Epilepsy. Epilepsy is incurable, medicine often doesn't completely stop someone from having seizures, and, though it's rare, it can kill. It (and non-epileptic seizure conditions) can also generally wreck lives in many more ways than one. The suicide rate is also quite high. But nobody cares about that. Please. Please consider helping charities that aren't just the big fun ones everyone else donates to. Please support charities (including for research) that actually need it. Things that actually save lives, especially the ones nobody ever seems to care about.

I wish yall had done some in person aspect to event... the place yall were at was like 45min away from where i live and since i dont use twitch id have totally come out to donate to the cause and meet yall. Maybe next year yall can do a 2 day event with one day being an in person meet n greet n donate event. Id love to come meet yall and that place is one of the few id actually be able to go to, theres no way ill be able to go out to a vegas or cali event so one in Michigan would be amazing!

The whole intent of them keeping it a secret until the event was specifically to keep people from showing up. It wasn't like a minecon or twitchcon or a meet & greet, it was a fundraiser event organised by gamers for giving, it's not about you or even hermitcraft, it's about raising money for kids
