the xisuma face kills the rates of the gardian farm, because of the low y-level thing it is also built on the highest y level possible, so mobs can spawn there even when it is day time.

Season 31: Mumbo lives in a dirt hut the entire season, never actually building in his own base and instead helping other hermits build farms in exchange for resources to craft with, then invests those back into the system. Endgame he waits until nobody is on the server and rebuilds his dirt hut with diamond blocks that he has saved from working for the other hermits. All bow to Mumbo. Or he builds a giant Bumbo Cactoni out of precious blocks. That would be cool too

Mate, it is because the game checks for opaque blocks on the height value, so any solid blocks in the air decrease spawning, and they don't have their own mob cap so everything you have said is completely pointless.

The guardian farm was updated by the guy who designed it. Something happened and the glass walls are no longer efficient. He has you replace the glass walls with redstone blocks. Built it in my realms server thanks to your suggestion to him. Works amazing!

Xisuma's face being so high up in the sky means that the game has to take more time to calculate whether or not to spawn a mob in a single space. Plus, you now have a very efficient hostile mob farm in your base, which will also affect the mob cap for the guardian farm.

Mumbo there is a way to make the water "clearer" in the Optifine settings if you use optifine. It makes the water as if you have a night vision potion on.

Actually, you don't need to create a complete grid of sand in order to clear out all the water in that diamond It should also work if you just build walls which are 5 blocks apart from each other and the clear out the water using a sponge every 3 blocks in the middle of the row 1 or 2 blocks below the surface (you might have to do this multiple times, but I think it is still faster than your current method) I don't know if it works for the current version of Minecraft, but it always worked fine for me using Minecraft 1.8 I hope this comment was helpful to you :)

MUMBO! I have an idea for your storage system. What if you collected an immense amount of shulker boxes, and made a packing system for the sugarcane/mob drops? So what would happen is instead of the bottom chests you had hoppers leading into shulker boxes and the moment they were full, they got sent away to your main storage system? mumbo, i did alot (i mean, really alot) of ocean removing. I built 6 gardians farms. (basically because i was on a serveur with low mob spawn and no endfarm allowed . Ocean temples are by far the best way left to grind tons of xp) When removing water from the sand box, you don't need to be ultra fast. Just fast enough to prevent water to generate new sources at the bottom which make the pit fill again. You can clear it with 2 sponges. One sponge on the middle of one wall, 1 block bellow surface. The other sponge 1 block above bottom middle of the opposite wall. And you have something like 1 to 2 sces to place them, which is enough to aim (almost) where you need. If you want to remove water from top to the bottom of the ocean, just use the same methode, execpt you will have to place a sponge every time water catch you from free falling. Do a 180, place a sponge. No more water, you fall, do a 180. Place a new songe when water slow your fall ect... It might help you with your others modules ;)

Sand falls. So you don't need to swim to place it. Just place it above where you want it, and it'll fall into place. Spoon counter for not placing sand right :p

Mumbo, for the 3rd person timelapses, you should try playing with your field of view settings to give the illusion of zoom. Might look cool to have it set lower than normal.
