Me and my friends have this huge castle project that goes up to build limit. The basic skeleton of the project has been set down since March 2020. No progress has been made since then except for some modifications to the entrance. Everyone is busy with their own things, classes and assignments. Even when we had the time during semester break, no one was in the mood to do it.

10:30 Not a shader pack, but a resource pack. I suggest Ultimacraft (which is basically vanilla with a bunch of extra stuff) with the Ultimacraft PBR addon. This will make it so that that, as long as the shader pack has PBR support enabled, blocks will have normal maps, reflections, etc. I think this is the thing that really makes screenshots pop, as it allows for extra depth to be added to each block. For the shaderpack itself, I like using it with BSL shaders! All together, it makes for amazing visuals! TL;DR: Ultimacraft + Ultimacraft PBR to make any shader you use look even better while keeping the vanilla look

Slime/Magma Cube Farm Idea: 1. Place cactus in the middle of the farm at least 3 blocks high. 2. Surround the cactus with hoppers leading to a chest. 3. Place a block on top of the cactus, then build an Iron Golem on top and surround it with fence so that the Slime/Magma Cubes can't kill it.

My single player world is one big unfinished project. I started playing by keeping a narrative diary of every day since the invention of writing and every time I die (I basically allow myself only iron armour, and one set per life) I consider it as the Steve who wrote in the diary died and (usually) his son takes over in a new book. Somehow, (remember, it's a single player game...) it lead to power struggles between different dynasties of Steves who inhabit different bases, with things escalating so much that different civilizations not only sometimes not know one another but also develop different names for newly discovered objects (I am not an English native speaker, so I have to translate everything). What's worse, they keep different calendar systems, so I need to keep track of everything in Excel so I know who to roleplay next.

Impulse is running a datapack that makes his base way brighter. it's subtle enough that it doesn't change the overall feel of the game, but dramatic enough that we notice when he turns it off. Maybe it would help with your base?

Well, I have quite a couple of unfinished buildings. The outsides are mostly done, but the inside is pretty empty. The biggest one is my Hofbräuhaus. There should Be 1000s of drinking, dancing and singing people, but all there is is stacks of grilled chicken, ready to be eaten. And my starterplace should be a grand building at the base of the mountain, but at this moment it is just a bit more than a cavebuilding.

Oh sure I have plenty. Builds, redstone, tree cult base (don't even ask), stuff like that. They're all those things that you really want to do but just never get around to doing it. Tree cult base excluded because it's not my fault MC is being stupid and won't let me on the realm. Edit: Forgot to mention irl work. Need to re-build iron farm (i play on bedrock so it breaks every 3 days), gotta fix up our spawn island (we ravaged it for resources). My base has to floors in it, and theres nearly nothing on the second floor. 2 different minigames that I have still not completed. My unfinished project is a giant rube-goldberg cow farm. Btw, I found a viable small automatic wheat farm is to trap a farmer villager in a one block farm with embedded hopper minecart to pull the wheat down before he can pick it up. Give him a couple seeds and feed him bonemeal regularly (I used a dropper system.) Now villagers can pick up bonemeal and use it on crops so he will work quite quickly.

My biggest Minecraft unfinished project? False, do you remember way back when playing FoolCraft? You were on a "team" with Xisuma and building in a Mystic forest biome. Ever since seeing that I wanted to do something similar, but while also going ham with the chisels and the bits. It's a heck of a rabbit hole. Anyway, I picked up Stoneblock for 1.12, threw some extra mods in their like biome's-o-plenty so I could get the Mystic Grove biome, and have been meaning to get hacking at it forever. I've got a big place scouted, I've got some of the basic preliminary work, I'm good to go. It has been a while since the set-up, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be commenting. It's staring at me like the blank canvas stares at every artist. I know what I want to do, sort of, but I can't figure out why I'm not actually doing it.

I have so many projects I have to finish still LOL. Mostly my sorting system, super furnace, slime farm, wither farm, and probably a ton of others I’ve completely forgotten.

Yea, I rarely play Minecraft anymore. I keep watching you and some other Hermits because I really like you guys, you always make my day/week better! I have moved on to other games, but I only watch Hermitcraft videos as far as videos about games go. Games may come and go, but good moods are priceless!!!
