Purpose for the the diamonds in the shopping idea: people who do community builds like building the roads/putting lights up should be paid for it

To elaborate on this idea, you could use the diamonds to fund the construction of public (non-profit motivated) infrastructure for the shopping district area. Have hermits who have contributed to the diamond pile vote on what sort of infrastructure (like transportation, community events, walkways, or beautification) they would like to see for the shopping district. Payment goes to the multiple hermits that are hired as contractors to improve the shopping district. I think paying for land is a great idea to solve the "problem of the commons", but you need a governing system to reinvest the diamonds in the mushroom island. Multiple hermits will probably want to be the hired contractors, and the jobs will likely require a few anyways with the amount of diamonds available for spending, so there can be a competition or bidding war of some kind to determine which hermits are hired. Set the rules for the competition to select contractors, and it becomes an impartial hiring process. Hermits will feel more okay with paying for land, once they know it will get reinvested into the island to increase the property values of their shops. I think all those who pay for land should become a member of this voting public fund for the entire shopping district island or server.

This is my idea for the plots diamonds: With the help of the whole server there should be events or minigames organised, things that don't require a new building to play only sometimes like little things, such as hoops, for example in summer the person with the most fish in a week wins like 20 diamond blocks (for the events thing) and for like minigames smth like a race through hoops with elytra or horse race from edge of the map to the other and these have rewards also. Those diamonds will not stay put with grian around so I thought id suggest this idea. Fanboy time: Love your season7 videos, they are actually really awesome, keep doing you man and keep adding more mustaches to random things :)

Iskall, use cactus instead of sugarcane, it only has 4 growth stages rather than the 16 sugarcane has. There is a really easy design by a youtube named GamerCory that requires less setup than Ilmango designed and grows 3 cactus at once.

The diamonds should be a bank, with loans and interest rates. If someone needs diamonds for a projects, they get a bank account (can be either saving and/or checking) and the diamonds are circulated around Hermitcraft. If you need a loan, they should have an interest rate of, like, 1 diamond per day? For checking account it's an additional diamond every other week(??), and for savings it is a diamond per week(??)

I have an idea for what you guyse can do with the dimond from the shop plots. If you do a server wide mega project like the season 6 nether hub you can use the diamonds from the pile to buy resorses from the shops. That way you guyse dont need to use your own resorses, you will use the severs resorses because the diamonds are basically the servers when you buy a plot. And if any hermit can buy the resources you don't need gather list like last time.

Here's an Idea. You can use the pile of diamonds in the shopping district as like a community wide "Insurance" If you die and lose all your stuff. You are allowed to take some of the diamonds in order to get your full diamond gear back. Anyone on the server can use this. I think its a cool idea.

@@Mahfy3w As soon as you die, instead of exploding like a pinata your loot drops into gravestone that remains there. When you get back to where you died, you break the gravestone and bam all you're stuff is there. It's like "keep inventory on" with extra steps.

Iskall85 - to have your mega tree base of doom really be of doom, you should try and use the new wood types that are going to be in 1.16 from the nether. The warped logs for your base in the jungle would look amazing especially if you used the crimson logs to make it looked cursed! IT WOULD BE AWESOME! AND OF DOOM! Your base sounds like a great idea, I just instantly imagined the new wood types when you said of doom! I hope that you see this and consider this even though it might be a while before you can get started! It would look so cool! Great videos as always!
