Here's an idea, Turn the rest of the mesa plateau into the orange planet of Geonosis. All you would have to do is cover the mountains in red sandstone, and make interesting rock structures jutting out of the ground. Just a thought...

Let me take a guess: The Emperor is future Ren and is guiding present Ren, the fellow stargazer, to follow in the Emperor's path to make sure nothing changes in the timeline sort of like in the Lego Movie 2. Maybe the timeline was interrupted by the time travel in Season 6. (I've been thinking about this for over a month but I never got a chance to comment this since I was so behind on Hermitcraft videos)
