Hermitcraft 7's Town Hall BUT, it's a MEGA BUILD | 100 Hour Minecraft Project

I DOUBLED the size and detail of Town Hall from Hermitcraft Season 7 (originally built by Bdouble0100, Grian & GoodTimesWithScar). I have started this project as a tribute to Hermitcraft 7 and the amazing cohesion of its Shopping District. I have also doubled the scale of the road that leads up to the Town Hall -- giant diamond-covered trees included!
Although I put my own twist on many elements of these builds, I give all credit to the members of the Hermitcraft server for concepts and initial designs. My goal with this series is to re-imagine how the cowmmercial district would look like if it was built in creative AND with the intention of making most of the builds within it MASSIVE and immersive.
I apologize for all editing and replay mod errors within the video. This build occurred in the spawn chunks of this seed and therefore the chunk loading is incredibly finicky. Next video will certainly be MUCH better.
And as I mentioned in the video, world downloads will come eventually but not right away.

After looking at this, no matter how plain cool your transformation is... I'm glad that the original Hermitcraft 7 Town Hall wasn't this big and massive. It is large enough to still feel like it's towering over the town, without being too large to put everything else out of scale. Because after all, it's supposed to be a centre of what is a quaint little commercial townlet! This townhouse would be a perfect fit for a gigantic commercial metropolis, but for the HC VII commercial district, the old one is basically perfect.

An amazing build! My rating: 9.5/10 My fav points of interest: 1) The Diamond Throne! It looks just slightly menacing and radiates power. The pond around it, with the gold lining is perfect! Well done! 2) The Town Hall! You have really added to it, with the texturing, the bell in the bell tower, the chequered windows and the clock! 3) The landscaping! The rolling hills are magnificent, and the eroded back is the best landscaping I've seen from you. The flower beds in the cradle of the stairway are perfect, and not having 90 degree stairs on a mountain was a smart choice. The garden in the back is great, but could do with a back gate, some food and refreshments and a defined area I suppose. 4) The huge trees are great as a one piece thing, but simply copying them makes them feel too unnatural. The cedar trees are okay with the copying, but copying the exact drip, slant and foliage of the big trees could do with more variety. Also, the trees were too high imo. I like the original Town Hall aesthetic where they obstruct the top of the Town Hall as you walk towards it, creating a magical unveil. The pathway would be better imo with a little smaller, more in number and a bit varied trees. That's it from me today! Hopefully my feedback helps you get better and better. Cheers!
