Season 7 was the best hermitcraft season. Decked out. Kiralis city. Mayor Scar. The shopping district with Grians barge. BDoubs killed us all with his amazing castle. And so much more.

Oy Keralis. Since you use so much snow for the walls, you can easily make a 2x1 spot out of powdered snow and it will be a very well concealed secret entrance if you want to hide something ;)

I understand Keralis so much. I'm a modern style builder and every time you joint a server with other people your building contrasts others so much you have to make your own separate spot. It can really suck sometimes. Oh well. I'm glad Keralis exists and keeps the modern building style trendy! Thank you Keralis!

For me personally I have found that Y level -54 was the best level for diamond mining. I ended up with about 10 blocks and almost a half stack after a 5 hour mining trip. This was with a fortune 3 mind you, I think villager trades added in with mining would be good. I normally don't bother with trying to mine diamonds anymore, I just find a village and start making a trading hall. 😆

One thing I absolutely love about Hermitcraft is the distinct build styles of different hermits. In week one of season nine, for example, I was able to recognize Bdub’s, Scar’s, Gem’s, Tango’s, Pearl’s, False’s, Stress’s, and of course Keralis’ builds just by sight! :)

you might have too many rooms in the house but they dont all need to be functional... just add what you want! A library with enchanting? A kitchen with animals/food source in the room next to it? A basement with potion brewing, workbenches tools and a massive smeltery? A library? A guest room just to flex how big your house is, even if you dont need a guest room? A dining hall? A treasury? Yes everyone needs a nether portal and storage but you dont need to limit interior to just those things ^^

From just the thumbnail I could hardly believe this was a vanilla house without a texture pack. It looks so good! The fact that it's on a bigger scale than usual certainly helps to achieve that, but from far away, that isn't obvious.

@@fennariley8331 I'm referring to the way they move the words around and to their content. Their tones are musical, like they were singing and the notes were on key and pleasant. He doing opera and she doing pop music. They have large dynamic ranges, meaning they get loud and quiet in a short period of time. Keralis uses many catch phrases from the present and from long ago, remastered to sound fun and even funny to those that have never heard the originals. Gem uses phrases, but ones she herself makes up. It's her own language. It's delightfully girly, but also projecting confidence and strength. Both are fast and funny, but not afraid to pause or speak slowly should the situation require it. And finally, they can go from projecting extreme confidence to feigned cowardice and back again in the same paragraph. This is what I mean. They use their voices like a first chair would use their violin.

One thing I like about Keralis's building style, aside from tons of things I like from him, is his cleanliness when building modern houses in Minecraft. I like it, I like how extravagant it is and so so so good looking, very pleasing to the eyes. It looks so clean..

People wonder why many Hermits only put one or two episodes a week... 1.) The shenanigans. 2.) They have to grind like maniacs in order to build like maniacs. 3.) They play to have fun and that often means delays to collaboate schedules to include their friends in the fun. 4.) They are always competing against their own prior work in originality and scope. 5.)
