Pearls color pallets are vivid and breath taking... No wonder she made it onto the server this year, a long with her positive and wholesome personality that she shares with all the hermits makes her an amazing choice for adoption to the team, and Ren's style is definitely imperial industrial shiek and as far as B-Dubs and his amazing gradients and forced depth and perspective he is amazing like he has studied pixel art color tone generation for every possible block combination it's like wizardry and that's the key every hermit has their wizardly powers... Thank you all for sharing your awesome adventures!

It's really hard to chose favourites, but: Starter Base: I kind of have to go for Scar. I mean, come on, the speed he built that thing was insane. Shop: Pearl's, easy. Just something about the dirty-but-cared-for vibe it has is so cool to me, let alone how huge it is. Main Base: Much harder to choose. I'd say a tie between Scar, Bdubs and any of the Soup Group. Thank you for the tour! I always end up thinking of everyone's bases as being really far apart from each other, but you're all so close! I had no idea Cleo was that close to the shopping district.

Tango's current base is absolutely amazing, but understandably so, there are a lot of moving pieces currently around his base in the spoiler department that I think he even has been keeping his own eyes closed from. Definitely one to check out hopefully in the next month or so. Doc's base on the other hand, he has world boss's as his minions, even harmless flowers can't be trusted there.

Thank you for doing a world tour!! You sell yourself short. I love your base style this year. And you have just as much detail and design as the others. I can’t wait to see more at your base. If you ever threw up a picture of an old medieval castle and town and said “this was my inspiration, I built it block for block to scale” I wouldn’t be surprised. I would completely watch several videos of you touring bases with the hermits guiding you around and getting all the juicy details and background stories! Please?! World tours is how I eventually found all the hermits and now I have to watch all the videos. There are no spoilers at Tango’s Citadel (the secrets are all below).

I LOVE when hermits tour around and talk about how great their compratiots are awesome. It's one thing to create great buildings and contraptions, it's another when people around you acknowlegde how great they are. I think your base also belongs in this video. If you feel like you are next to giants, maybe you should start seeing yourself as a giant as well. Everyone in the server is so cool and awesome. Joe and Zedaph think in a way so strange to me that they create their own game. Zedaph's videos are hilarious, and Joe's antics always make people think and laugh. A world tour of bases, but there is so much more when I see each location: the king's diamonds, the diamond race, the secret pranks, e minigames, hermits helping hermits, the charities... Even TFC's tribute (may he rest in peace). You make history special for me and many of us who enjoy watching you all. Have fun🎉

You were talking about how you didn't want to go into interiors because they were still a work in progress, but i was thinking it would be cool to do a series of "Lifestyles of the Hermits and Crafting" type episodes near the end of the season (or whenever) showing off select builds of other hermits

There's so many amazing builds in spawn it's hard to pick a favourite. I love False's eagle and how that tied in with season 8, Pearl's house is epic and a lovely preview of her megabase. Tango's house on wonky stilts reminds me of stories of walking witch houses. Cub living in basements under Ren's Gigapies and then Scar's amazing treehouse was a fun way of approaching the start of the season. And speaking of Ren, his steam paddle boat is awesome too. Grian's gradient roof and water wheel are brilliant. And of course the pork shop with the giant pig chef slime over it is incredible!

Woo! World tour! It's so cool to get a quick recap on what everyone's been roughly doing. Everyone is so good!! Favourite S9 starter base? Probably Tango (for uniqueness). Favourite shop? Probably Bdubs...It's hard to choose. They are all so cool! Personal favourite base build from you Jevin is actually this current season. It's a style I dig, and it looks fantastic.

When it comes to my all time favourite Hermit, I would have to say it's Ren. I have been watching him since I started playing MC, along with him starting MC. About 11 years ago. Long before he became a Hermit. I also like the build styles of Scar, Bdubs, Tango, Keralis, and many more. I watch about 20 of the Hermits, just can't get enough. You also have a cool building style and I love watching your videos too.

You can also touch the bottom to exit fly mode and start swimming. Do whatever is easier/faster in the situation.

16:57 Yes, he was bullying his village when he ended up capturing two ravagers, he decided to make an habitat for them, and he already had a place with sheep, cows and things like that, so he decided to make a zoo. Also, the fox habitat was made by Beef, they made some builds at each other's base (here I'm talking about Beef's cabin in the woods, not the card making area).

Favourite starter base for me was Scar, Favourite shop is Bdubs' new shop , it looks so amazing. My absolute favourite build on the server is Tango's Deep Frost Citadel, and I'm so sad you didn't show it , the outside has no spoilers . The whole thing looks just so incredibly epic . Tango is killing it this season (the nether hub as well)

What a great friend appreciation video! Also, a neat tour of the server ;) On a more serious note, this was a great video to watch. Hermitcraft is something special and I doubt most people have the time to see all of it. Every single member is an awesome builder, and I learn something new from just about every video I watch, and I have been watching a looooong time, lol. As far as favorite spawn build, I have to go with the Steam Boat. It is quintessential Americana and my memory says it was built by Ren? maybe? I love seeing it in the river out there by spawn, It just fits. My favorite shop build has to be Grian's Entity. With all of his sons running rampant, it just makes me giggle.

I’ve tried to watch almost every hermit this season, and it’s great to watch everything as a refresher of all the amazing people and builds on the server. Excellent touch showing Scarland from the ground too, I know Scar always says that’s how he wants the park to be viewed.

It indeed would probably take hours to tour all the bases in detail. But, this would also offer the opportunity for collabs... like, one base of another hermit per episode (or two or three) with those Hermits guiding you around their base. This would encourage viewers to watch other Hermits and their viewers to watch your videos in return and also it's not too much effort creating content that way. Not to mention that these likely would get a lot of views assuming the most viewers enjoy Hermits interacting with each other the most and we're curious to see what others that we don't closely follow might have done in over a year on the server.

I am still so so SO happy y’all decided on having a spawn area where y’all lived close together at the start of the season. In conjunction with prox chat, it makes things feel so alive! and encouraged people to stay close even when y’all started moving out from it. No more (or at least a lot less) disconnected megabase syndrome! I also may have been repeatedly talking while in Joe’s vicinity about how much I wanted the hermits to have a spawn town in the next season for several seasons 😅 I like to think that finally paid off. Thanks so much for this world tour Jev! It’s been wonderful to see these views of everyone’s bases even if I already watch them, you showed off a lot with freecam that we don’t see normally :D

Great world tour! Something I've been hoping for since the start of the season is that when it's about to end y'all get together and make The Grand World Tour, but even if that doesn't happen these smaller individual world tours are great for showing off everything. You are all so talented! (also it hurt to hear every time you downplayed your own skills. Sir, you are ALSO an amazing builder and minecrafter!) As a Dylan I have to say that Iskall's starter base is the best, but as a casual minecraft player nothing beats Beef and Zedaph! They heard "starter base" and actually made the assignment ;P Favorite shop? The unalive yourself-shop, mostly because of the hilarity it causes in chat. Yeah, I like the small builds that aren't trying to impress too much, I have a type x3 That's not to say I'm not impressed by all the other things as well, because honestly wow, everything on this server is just aweinspiring

Pearls Starter Base was my favorite I love the Alien and then Falses UFO abducting and just the way she shapes and colors her builds I think Scar described her best she's an Artist and her bases are like a painting, I'm not sure I really have a favorite Hermit I love them all everyone is so entertaining and incredible at the game in many different ways but if I had to choose might be Pearl I also really loved her old Build A Day series I learned so much and it showed there's really no style or theme she can't build it's insane

Favourite spawn build was bdub's monument, before it got all the changes for the king. The updates made for a cool story line at the monolith though. Remaining favourite i think is doc's. Tango a close second/third

It's hard to pick a favourite from all the bases/shops from any one hermit. Each person has such different styles, but all are equally epic in their own way, and I love them all! I've gotten so much inspiration for my own building watching everyone here, and I hope to someday be good enough to create my own builds without having to rely on tutorials :) Can't wait to see more... and can't wait to visit it all in person when we can download the world for our single player game!

Btw, Bdubs has been trying to get away from linear gradiants, ie dark to light fade, and instead hes been focusing on "Shading". So the dark spots arent at the bottom or a side and fade in a linear fashion to lighter block, instead it gets dark where shadows would be cast. The brightest spots of the build are showing where the light is beaming onto the build in a realistic building way instead of using shaders for that effect.
