I mean they would've ended the season earlier if Decked Out had been done earlier. Bases are finished, hermits are burnt out and just waiting for next thing. Decked out it the only thing keeping this season alive, when it ends the season ends. And then there'll be another season!

The artifacts don't require specific compasses to pop out. You could even throw a berry in the spot to get an artifact. The hermits could always just run to a spot they know an artifact is every time due to this limitation

Yeah, unfortunately that run was a case of unintentional cheating, the artifact was clearly not in the "pizza oven" and was almost certainly behind the closer of the two coffins in the previous room.

It’s not unintentional if he knew about the mechanic beforehand. He literally mentioned in an earlier run that he knows it works if you throw it in any of them. Edit to add he explains his understanding of this mechanic several runs earlier at 35:15.

All this odd food talk, I chop up sweet pickles (gherkins) and sprinkle them on my ice cream. This comment was triggered by the milkshake/fries combo conversation. You should try it once, so good. You can really only taste the ice cream until you start chewing up the pickles, they get warm from the chewing and their flavor is then tastable, like a temperature triggered flavor profile, quite scientific actually :D

Great to see the content, unfortunate that the only successful run was the result of unintentional cheating, clearly that wasn't the correct artifact location. Still the actual one was very nearby and easy to get to so probably only changed the artifact you got, and I don't know whether one has a different set of artifacts to the other.

it seems like the 4th run compass is on the right spot. This is the biggest flaw of Decked Out the compass spots doesn't have filters. Any hermit could just toss any compass to any known compass spots.

Jevin, I wholeheartedly recommend exploring lvl. 1 and 2. You keep focusing on what you know and boxing yourself out of easy an medium loot areas. In you're 1st and 3rd runs, you skip past two areas that lead directly back to the lava room after some good jukes: 1. you have a hazard trap to the right of the bridge that has moving chains, 2. to the left of the bridge there's a stone area with a pillar and gate, and 3. there's an extra pathway in Shroom that turns you around and you can jump over the gate. Also, please STOP leading the Ravagers to the stairs, there are plenty of places to lose LOS, and you're just wasting a bunch of time going back and forth. In your 4th run, you deposited the compass in a Medium artifact location when you had an Easy (notice how your compass kept pointing through the wall instead of flipping around), all you had to do was either go to the river area and make a right to the other ice caves or go to the basement and go through the cupboard. Please Jevin I just don't want to see you fail anymore due to mindlessness, incompetence, or just plain anxiousness when you're smart and your deck is perfect for Mediums.

nononono, that was a joke lol. As kosmoman said, there are 6 more phases and this phase will last 2 weeks because Tango will be off to Vegas I believe for a few days. So the dungeon will be closed for awile. I don't see the season ending before december, because some hermits who are playing Decked Out have unfinished business at their bases as well. Scarland isn't finished, Rendog has a whole Scabland to build, Joe's Pinballmachine is far from finished, Stress and Iskall are building a game as well; Those are only a few examples.

Yeah I agree about that being a joke, but I do remember Tango being incredibly exited about Etho's first run. He was running and jumping, off to his exit door, mocking Etho for probably not being able to find the exit, shouting: "See you in December!" and I think that was unintentionally true. All my radars went off and I never mentioned this, but here seems a good spot to get it off my chest 😅

There's a mod where you can just hold shift click and scroll over your items. Item Scroller is one.

Lots of times you have enough saturation to heal half a heart without using hunger points. You need to take enough damage to use all your saturation and a tiny bit of hunger so you can eat and refill both.

I was wondering about it too, but I do trust a Jevin who plays minecraft everyday since the Arc of Noah stranded and dinosaurs were still a thing to know what's up with those game mechanics 😄
