The Soup Group tunnel and portals in the Nether are beautiful! You can instantly tell which base each connects to. Plus, you and Gem always seem to have fun when you are together. I love to see it. That was some clever redstone work, Pearl. Nice to see the shop fully armed and operational. Looking forward to the 1.19 shenanigans. The froglights are super cool looking. The pearlescent one it’s my favorite. They named it after my favorite content creator, too. 🥰

You should offer scar a trash-bin service... he will need a lot of them in his mega park and you are basically the local trash service :D You could make a deal to build every trash bin for the park but he will need to pay you 1 or 2 diamonds for every one of them

One of the things that you could use for the "trash" dropping onto the plates is eggs. You could setup on of the chickens to be contained in so way over a hopper chain and then wouldn't have to worry about refilling them ever again.

Unfortunately, I don't think that would work. Eggs count as projectiles, so much like arrows or snowballs, if put into a dispenser, I think they'd just fire onto the ground and then you've got a potential chicken just sitting there forever.

You could add rubbish bins/trash cans around the shopping area for hermits to dump stuff in... but filter it into your door dispensers so when people enter they can get random bits of trash too hahaha

Pearl! The nether tunnel looks great, you and Gem did an amazing job on it. Impulse's portal being lower might just be because a result of the way portals link, but it actually works really well since he's under Gem's base. Your timelapses have trained me to expect a death at the one part in it right before it picks up again, glad to see no one died in this one. I'm happy you got the redstone working the way you wanted, I did kind of want to see some of the dragon fight for the dragons breath just because when you killed it apparently it scared the crap out of the other hermits based on Impulse's stream. :D

The thing with your system at the "trash shop" is that every time a hermit walks on the pressure plate, it resets the 5 minute timer, 'cause your adding another item to the stack on the pressure plates below. (also the dispensor will run out of items quickly) May i suggest a "T-Flip Flop" instead of dispensors all together? it makes the pressure plates act as a lever, so a hermit walks in the shop, it activates. And the potions will fire. And when they leave it de-activates (no potion release)

Thats actually a pretty clever little system you made with the potion dispenser. Congrats, when I create redstone contraptions I often do not consider non-redstone mechanics such as item despawning so I vote pearl attempt to overcome Mumbo's redstone skills! (just kidding, probably) P.S: I tuned out during your monologue so I am not even certain if you did consider item despawning but it is still quite clever

It would have also been possible to build a one binary counter connected with an Or gate so if the player walks in it triggers but when they walk out it resets the counter for the next player

Having just recently watched doc's video that also came out on the same day, its hilarious to see just how different the hermits can be. Pearl: I set up a potion dispensing thingy when people walk in! So proud! Doc: I built a warden farm, a warp speed spectral arrow that vaporizes armor, and a charged creeper delivery service. It's nice to see hermits getting out of their comfort zone and trying new things, like in this case a builder figuring out redstone so kudos. Also the tunnel looks amazing

Only drawback I see to the design is that the redstone block locks the hopper when the system is primed and ready to fire. you could move the hopper to the other side and move the chest to that side as well to stop that from happening. but I guess with it launching only one potion and it having 5 minutes to fill, that works fine the way it is.

It's supposed to be a green tunnel, but because he put amethyst blocks behind the green window panes, they just look grey. This is what happens when you "mix" two complimentary colors together (green + purple) and I'm not sure why he didn't fix it or just change the tunnel color. Stubbornness, I'd imagine.

I do have a solution for the bin chickens if you'd like to have some more of them though. if you can get some chicken jockey chickens they won't lay eggs, it'll be a bit of a pain and separate them from the baby zombies with water if you ever stumble upon them. it's a lot of work for the gag, but it's something to keep an eye out for if you're ever interested!

A further refinement for your potion dispenser setup is to have it also disable the item dropper so that only one item is dropped no matter how many times you walk over the pressure plates.
