The dungeon had us in the first half, not gonna lie. Welcome everyone to Hermitcraft Season 9 with Cub! Today we are continuing to run the Decked Out dungeon and collecting artifacts for our Museum! Today we run Deadly and Deepfrost difficulties, discover secrets, and explore all within a game created in vanilla Minecraft.

Please get some some dungeon sounds for the museum!!! Just the ambient track would make the museum feel like a real part of the dungeon. Could even have some buttons for some other sounds.

The plot armor on the way back out of level 3 in run 11 was nuts! Step on a pressure plate 2 feet away from all 3 wardens, and you book it out of there without dying? What the hell!? Congrats on being immune to consequences 😂.

Run 11 was absolute madness! A perfect form, getting a W against all odds. What a pleasure to watch. With runs like these I'm on the edge of my seat, holding in a scream of celebration at the end so I don't wake the neighbours! I feel like it's fair to say that you've mastered the game. It was amazing seeing you progress and learn, right now I'm pretty sure you're going to win this. Looking forward to the next runs. Keep on rocking!

Another epic run, Cub. You're my favorite underrated Minecraft player...excelling at every aspect of the game (redstone, building, parkour, knowledge of mechanics) Those Dungeon Repairs definitely paid off immediately with all those stairs being open on your way out still.

The shrieker on the bubblevator up from level 4 is only so the game can register that you're on level 3 now. It doesn't add clank

I think the biggest thing tango got wrong with do2 is the low roll drops every level has drops that are far too low for the level and it leaves the player feeling dejected and like there's no point going to that level. Like in run 11 cub got the pic and said 38 for this?! That happens so often on each level if he just raised the minimum on each floor more people would progress and try the harder levels

my only gripe with decked out it feels like the artifact values arent worth it sometimes for the floor difficulty like you should not get a 30-39 range artifact from floor 4.

It would be really cool if there was a card you could get that allows you to play your first X-number of cards from your deck first & in order (3 cards?) - ie if this card is in your deck, then those first X cards are not shuffled and play first in the order you place them in your deck. The element of strategy could be really fun to see.

tbh i dont see the point in level 4 runs rn like cub getting the best artifact in the entire game and still getting 9 less embers than etho running level 3. maybe im wrong but it seems to not be worth the extra effort. That being said maybe doing what etho does only works cause of his deck so I'm probably wrong lol

Artifacts on level 3 seem to be worth mostly 30-50 embers, on level 4 they're 38-60. But I suspect there's less opportunity to gather floor embers if you go to level 4, although it still seems like level 1 is where you wanna be to look for floor embers even though Etho claimed he hit a floor ember cap when he did an Easy run just to test how much he could farm. So I'm really not sure if it's worth it, I don't know how much going to level 4 impacts survivability. But if you're just going for tomes then what you need is just the five-pack ie. 40 embers, if you can buy that every run then it's not worth any extra risk to get more I think, unless the competition is doing the same.

You get into that cage by swimming down the tnt pool in lvl 1. Gem did it once I think.

I have a question, at 34:53, Cub is deciding between the cards Erie Impulse and Dungeon Repairs, he picks Dungeon Repairs, then at 58:56 the game plays an Erie Impulse.. so did he already have Erie Impulse in his deck? I'm not super familiar with the contents of his deck, or maybe I'm just missing something. Just a coincidence maybe?
