Xisuma: Wouldn't it be better to get a leather worker with chest armor? The dyes wouldn't be that hard to get if you can find a spot with Cornflowers, Poppies, and Dandelions to build a flower farm. I only suggest this because it'd be cheaper than all the Diamond Chests plates and still get that color coded look. >.> granted buying Diamond chests from an Armorer would do the same job. Loved it, and the idea of playing MINEsweeper in MINEcraft is brilliant. Amazing idea for all those involved in thinking it up!!

Edit: As Kyle Young pointed out, this suggestion won't work as the redstone wouldn't travel through two blocks. I somehow missed that obvious fact. Just an idea for that Minesweeper-thingy: If you use a block that is breakable by pistons as the top block you can snug another appropriately colored block underneath: Button Melon/Pumpkin/Moss Block in color of the number of mines Piston The mines could also remain the same, just switching out the top block. Since these top blocks are easily farmable, and you won't need to fiddle around with armor stand, this should be a lot easier to (re-)setup. (This suggestion has not been tested though :) )

Suggestion for minesweeper: just make the TNT be directly above a hole and have, about 15 blocks underneath the entire stage, a large pool of waterlogged slabs over hoppers. Players have to stand on the block when they're pressing the button, if it's a mine the TNT, the sand, and the player all fall down below. TNT blows up nothing bc it's in water, sand and player death drops are collected by the hoppers.

If you wanted to make a version that doesnt explode, you can have it drop the TNT into a body of water just under the surface to get the particles and the sound, and do an armor stand that wears a TNT pumpkin or something. Also you could use an observer/maybe tripwires to detect the falling TNT and set off all the TNT at once like in real minesweeper

I love the minesweeper idea so much!! Especially since it's something attainable for me, a minecraft peasant. Hermitcraft is very much like Iron Chef. It's entertaining, it's delicious, but it's way out of the normal range of talent and creativity. Beef made a Minesweeper-ish game years ago. Two platforms of obsidian, each player places levers on the underside of their opponents platform and they then take turns placing TNT on the top side of their platforms. Less puzzle, more gamble than minesweeper but fun to watch. I think you may have said previously you don't use clickers but, in case I'm wrong, Tango recently showed a cool auto-click method for crafting nuggets->ingots->blocks which would work well for bones

The statues book should let you rotate the block the armor stand is holding a bit more. Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red wool would work well for the counters. Cleo(statue master) or Zed(Ask about golf) should be able to show you how to make them, if you need help.

I think they are setting a willful limit on the 3D designed items. If you want to go full story mode you’ll have to do with a pumpkin. Otherwise everyone does 3D models as armour and it will destroy the vanilla feel of the server.

As someone who sorts all the items and blocks just for fun… You only have all the blocks and items that are in the Creative inventory. Notable things that aren’t in there include Ominous Banners (and banners with patterns in general), Suspicious Stew (non-stackable), and the Vanilla Tweaks mob heads. Actually, you seem to have excluded all banners, fireworks, and player heads as well.

Aging myself here, but I remember playing Minesweeper on MS-DOS before Windows was even a thing, but the DOS game that gives me the most nostalgia (besides Doom and Doom II which took 6 floppy disks to install but can now be played on calculators) is the game "Gorillas". I'm sure others have mentioned, or you remembered. There can be 4 and 5 mines adjacent to a tile. Potentially upward to 8 since each tile touches on 8 others. Of course, you'll have final say in what the placements are(unless you develop a redstone device to randomize each reset of the game) so maybe having more doesn't matter as much. Very cool regardless!

I think you can keep minesweeper from destroying itself by just adding a gap below each TNT block - or even the whole contraption. After all, TNT isn't affected by gravity until activated, and thanks to the sand people will easily be able to tell if they pressed a mine or not. If they need to stand on the button they press, it will end in their demise as well!

An explanation for the weird zombie behavior: Doc put turtle eggs at (0, 0) and is using some bug in the game to make all the zombies pathfind there. I can't remember what episode this was in of his, but theres a comment on his 7th episode that explains it.
