I don't think so. Tango still has a few things he wants to do with decked out, and a few hermits are still working on their bases. My guess is the server will stay up until around late February, and the next season will start around June.

Yeah i´ve noticed it some time ago when people started getting less active (Grian, Impulse, Iskall, Mumbo etc) The season has been too long and it is time for something new. My guess the server will shut down around january/february

not gonna happen. scar is still actively working on his base. Mumbo hasn't been active for the entirety of the season. He put a few hours into his base, blew it up, and never finished it so he hasn't been invested at all. Grian gave up on his base 5 months ago and had less and less interest in the season once all the shenanigans were over. They've been on a break for half the year so Christmas shouldn't have any effect. @@thijsjansen7600

They truly deserve a break. Some hermits have grinded like crazy with very few breaks. I’ll miss them, but the return will be sweet

Whenever I hear a phrase like, "Recently, I had an inkling to get this finished," I wonder if the inkling was a server player meeting where dates for the end of the season are discussed and finalised. Still, at least time is provided for people who have been spending less time on the SMP to finish things. One thing that I hope happens this season is that as many people as possible get together to tour the server and see what others have done over the past 2 years.

I've been hearing rumors of the season ending. Tango wrapping up, Cleo saying (on his stream, I think) that she had to finish her build, and everyone's been busy with Vault Hunters. That, plus Christmas holidays (and no Christmas build this year) and January seems to be a dead-period for KZbin videos.

Not sure if this was on purpose, but I feel like you captured Bdubs' gradient style really well for the ice farm. Which isnt an easy feat given how detailed he builds things.

@XISUMA - The Ice Farm could do with a castle tower built at the end of it, to finish it off nicely. Maybe something white (like Bdubs' starter castle), or Prismarine colour to match the theme of the Horse Course. Right now the ice tunnel looks like it's leading nowhere. Really needs a building at the end of it to look like it is joined to something. 🤔

Although the thumbnail is really different from normal thumbnails, I really like it! Just a nice glowy dark picture of the beautifull landscape and base, with hermitcraft nicely blended in!

You raced it when ren asked you to test it out during the game of Demise and the idea was by Grian of course. The goal was to survive the longest without dying but if you die you had to change your skin to be monotone and those who have already gotten demised had to trick and trap the alive ones.

Wow, this was a really neat episode! I loved the onscreen racing overlay! I hope some other hermits will also use it for the Grand Prix! You’re very smart to start practicing, X! It doesn’t come naturally. Unless you’re False or Etho I guess. False barely did practice and Etho of course mostly practiced his own partition of the race but some how with all the Empires folks, False blew everyone away in the first race and kept Etho at bay for most of the second race until the very very very end. Ren wasn’t racing though so I can’t wait to see that! Good luck! And great job on making the ice farm blend in and look awesome in the background of the horse course!!

I absolutely need to build a race course in my survival server and this will serve as great inspiration for that. I'm just so busy with my megabase at the moment to do anything else, so a race course will maybe happen like 10 years in the future.

Kind of disappointed that they didn't do the recharge zone sound effect when your Boost meter was recharged. Or that your boat didn't start smoking when you were at 30% power. (For those of you who don't know, the boat segment featured an F-Zero inspired UI. By the way, if you've ever played F-Zero 99, you'd know how hard it is to not have your machine smoking and about to spontaneously explode from running into walls and other players. The controls unironically are kind of close to the Minecraft ice boat controls with how slippery the machines handle.)

Hey X, I know this video isn't about villager trading, but I wanted to run an idea by you and get your thoughts. With the experimental features, the idea was to get players to travel to various biomes. I was thinking, rather, that what if trades had recipes like Iskall's Vault Hunter's has recipes for crystals? Rather than a random recipe, a trade could have a set recipe that includes various aspects of gameplay: e.g., a mending trade would require a diamond, a netherite ingot, a nether star, and a pottery shard. It would allow the player to have some control over the trade, not have to transport villagers, and the player would also have to go on adventures and/or do combat in the game. Thoughts?

Hey X, great build and video! Also, just wondering. Is there a way to change those controller keybinds? If so, for most driving games forward is right trigger and turning is on left joystick. (Thus resolving your issue of having left/right and forward on one joystick).
