That was only one ravager on your easy run. They continue to track you for about a second after you loose sight. You cut right too quickly and the ravager turned around. Give them more time to start down a path before cutting the other way and mind that they can still hit through two solid blocks so take a wide birth.

Not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure the number of shards you get is based on your total amount of frost embers in Decked Out up to that point. More of a catch-up mechanic for the overall game, rather than just a phase by phase balancer.

Oh my goodness, that voice chat data pack is exactly what I needed. I was inspired by Cleo's game build, so I'm making a Redstone version of another social deduction game. I was struggling with the voice chat proximity distance, and this will be perfect to resolve that! Oh my days!

Also, from watching this right after watching Hypno's video, you might want to try out Grian's training room to get some practice with Willie. Basically, if you see him you have to run around him. There is minimal chance of you being able to run past him, unlike ravagers.

Hopefully at the end of Decked Out there are prizes for more than just 1st place. I think a lot of hermits feel they’re out of the running to win, but many definitely have a shot at making top 3 if they keep at it.

@@pyv0x733 Yeah, I hope a lot of the hermits realize that even if they're not doing Deadly (or even a lot of Hard) runs and getting super high-value cards right now, they still have a shot. The scoring is cleverly designed enough to keep the point-spread from getting too vast. Cub and Hypno look like frontrunners because of their best runs, but they take a lot of risks, and there's a lot of other hermits who could totally come out above them by the end. Idk if anyone's beating Etho though lol.

xisuma, as for the ravagers constantly following you, you gotta be able to get out of the line of sight because if they dont stop seeing you, they wont stop running. they are not very smart mobs, you can lure them around a corner then go back the other way and they wont know where you went

When it comes to the voice mod zones you could have multiple of those cubes take you to the same channel. So you could use an extra zone cube for that extra bit in the basement.

I'm not overall fan of roguelikes, but Decked Out 2 is fun to watch and peak of Minecraft's community's creativity. Tango did really great job. One thing that I noticed in your style of playing is that you don't calculate too mich ahead. Example: you run to Iron Golem's room just like that to avoid ravager and nothing else. Yes, there is luck involved, but instead of just running away you shoud try to move him somewhere where he won't bother you. You need more foreshadowing to increase success of your runs. Etho is greatest example. He calculates two steps ahead and you see resaults.

Love watching X play. He's an analytical type, and also a derp type. Very funny to see how they go against each other. Pearl will be happy to know she's not the only one who bombed phase 4. And X. You should still be playing to win. Tango has said that he will be shaming the lowest ranked players who actually tried beyond running 3 or 4 games. At this point, it's not just a battle for first place. It's a battle to not be last.

I saw two thumbnails while going through my feed. I like to watch hermits in the order they release, so I clicked on the Xs with the Xs on their eyes. The other one I saw was the multiple death screens, but I had to watch two videos first. I’m not a good test case, because I watch hermits videos regardless of the thumbnails. 😊 Can’t wait to see your just-fun-for DO2 runs. The jump scares get me every time, and you narrate your runs very well!

I have an idea, although its the feature completionist side of me talking, could you get the audio feature modder to change the microphone mute button into two separate buttons? The buttons would individually affect either local audio or group audio. That way a group could also function closer to a optional radio system with the hermit not always being forced to speak through their group. This idea is so tango could have his group microphone muted to the dungeneer but have his local microphone running, allowing him to chat about the run with a potential co-host or other hermit without disturbing the runner. it feels like with the more frequent use of open groups the potential of splitting the microphone button could be quite useful, it also aligns with what they already did inside the buildings at zombie cleos game albeit reversed. Of coarse I'm only a fan so no need to listen to me! keep up the good videos, the advances and little tweaks hermitcraft have acquired is a marvel to look at. The thumbnail I got was 9 deaths and hermit-craft with eps number! the deaths got me intrigued! I saw xsuma being sus on suspicious stew in a previous episode and got confused, I hope you can relate.

I don't think I've seen anyone make the iron bar lava parkour that got you on that one run. Most of the time, people don't even try it. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't modified that spot for that very reason. It looks hard enough without there being part of the ceiling in the way though imo

It's obviously totally fine to just playing for fun, but Tango did implement that catch up mechanism exactly for that purpose. Next phase you'll have way more shards than other players, and other players might have a bad phase too.

It’s a server side application that I never truly see being added to Minecraft but rather being an option for server developers. Really they need to optimize redstone so it works reliably even when in lazy and unloaded chunks.

Hopefully if the Hermits use the new audio groups based on region all of them will have a better understanding of the rules that Cleo set up in regards for letting others know ahead of time that the person is jumping into that group. I can unfortunately see issues that might pop up with the region based groups.

1 tip for learning some of level 2 is to take the medium runs. Its gives you some level 1 runs to facilitate building your deck up, but as your deck gets better you can spend more time exploring more of level 2 when you get those artifacts since your deck will allow you to stay in longer

I'm glad Xisuma is trying to go into Level 2. I know it's easier to loop level 1, farming for embers and treasure, but it's enjoyable to watch X learn and grow in the game.
