The difference in speed of progression is so obvious this season. We have people like Grian and Mumbo with basic enchants while we also have Etho, Cub and Doc who are already fighting withers, getting an elytra and building complicated redstone contraptions

For some of the slow ones it was a conscious choice. Though it has to be embarrassing for the hermits who fell behind them despite that.

@@tristanridley1601 I doubt it. Hermitcraft is just friends playing together. In fact, the slow ones are the ones creating the most fun moments in my opinion rather than just rushing to complete the game

@@tristanridley1601 Nahh, as someone who's played on a server w/ friends w/o being around each other constantly, it's actually really cool. The lower progression guys can get help anytime they want from the high progession, and the high progression guys get to see/support cool builds w/o having to fully commit to a cool build that they feel they won't do justice to.

The poppy made no difference. you can place water on the same block as a poppy and it replaces it. She just missed the clutch.

​@@arama7578 you can't place anything including water in the block of the poppy. You can with grass but not with flowers. (Water can flow into poppies tho) Note that if she somehow managed to right-click the poppy's hitbox then she might have survived by placing it on top of the poppy.

Can we just appreciate the unintentional server wide and or majority taking part in the early "Fishing Shenanigans" that have been started by Grian? Over the last few seasons, he's started wars, game modes etc. And this time around he's easily convinced majority of the server to be obsessed with fishing one way or another

Geminitay's trap lower xisumavoid's hearts to four hearts that means it took away six hearts but due to xisumavoid having nearly full saturation it instantly healed four hearts giving the illusion of only two hearts when it was actually six.

@@ritasonka330 I think it would be really good for Hermitcraft if elytra was only allowed for big builds and long distance travel. Then everyone would use horses around spawn, until spawn was built up and everyone moved further for their mega builds. It's been really fun these first episodes when everyone is using horses and running into each other, going places together on horses and camels and donkeys. It's just fun!

It's worth knowing that the error Mumbo made in the last season's Slime farm was that the y-value of the farm was slightly to high for slimes to spawn in a swamp, but it was otherwise perfectly good.

I think they discussed that during the Season 10 Day 1 video last week. Pix _was_ "part of Hermitcraft" briefly during the Empires Crossover, doing a recap _of_ Hermitcraft _on_ Hermitcraft, but they maintain that the show is very much unofficial and not directly affiliated with the Hermits themselves. (...besides, that would inflict "This week on Hermitcraft... ME!" jokes on everyone for the entire rest of forever, a terrible fate we'd all like to avoid)

None of us have any intent to join Hermitcraft, but either way, the recap is never going to be considered official. That would make it a “product” of Hermitcraft - and they don’t do business as a group or a brand, only as individuals. Hermitcraft doesn’t have a budget, or pay out salaries. Even stuff like the TCG was largely organised by VintageBeef and the revenue split was presumably agreed upon between all the Hermits individually. The Recap has been an independent project for years and will remain that way :)

In doc's second video you can see the storage, he's indeed way past the 10k pistons, in that episode he was actually already quite close to double that. With the machine still active... At the start of the episode he was for; Pistons & level 3 Rockets - above 17k Iron, cobble & bottles - above 14k Slimeblock, glowstone, sugar and spider eyes - above 7k And at the end he had enough shulker shells for close to 10k shulkerboxes (and also enough planks for the chests that are needed for those boxes) at this rate he has all those things at over 100k stock before the end of the month. Too large numbers to push into the "economy" because it would crash it instantly.. Similar to S9 and his excessive numbers of diamond blocks. Given his plans for this season and calling his S9 perimiter "an experiment/test perimiter" for this season should mean he should also have a double chest filled with shulkerboxes (that are filled with diamond ore blocks) Now i'm curious how many that is... ehm (64*27)*54=93.312 blocks Should be achievable :P

I'm certain that the prize for winning demise is a server job role, not a physical in-game item. My intellect suggests that it may well be the role of "Taskmaster", given that Grian seems to be revisiting a lot of older ideas, and would make sense after Secret Life, and would go in-hand with Hermit Challenges and The Dare Stick server games of previous seasons. I think the prize for winning Demise is going to be the power to set challenges for other Hermits.

In an ideal world we'd use a mix of she/they, but we've taken to just using 'they' in the scripts because a lot of the Hermits in the clips we choose use 'she', so hopefully there's a good balance :)

I think the prize will be the first shop in the shopping district! Or, this season will be a series of minigames, and whoever wins one gets to build a shop. Think about it: in Mumbo's third episode, he rebuilds and destroys his slime farm multiple times while not being on the alive team anymore. Why would he do that? Does he think it's no longer usefull as he doesn't get the chance to win Demise anymore, and thus cannot sell the slime balls? He clearly doesn't need a lot of them for his own use, he can't sell them, so what is the use of the farm if it's not going to be used and only be in the way?
