Doc more than made it to space, he was at 200,000 blocks or 200km, and the karman line is only 100km up. (Based on the clip shown, not sure how high he maxed out at in his video) The Hermit Space program has made it to orbit all right.

The Hermitcraft Space Program is progressing nicely. First, there was the individual launch with fishing rods. Second, there was the dual launch on pigs in boats. That was good: y launches of 800m. Most recently, Doc has nearly reached escape velocity (he came down again, so he didn't make it) with breeze blasts again on the now standard launch vehicle: a pig in a boat.

the Von Karman Line (the boundary between "space" and "not space") is only 100km above sea level, so by that measurement yes, doc did indeed enter space. However he _didn't_ get as high as the edge of Earth's atmosphere which is considered to be 10,000km above sea level, which doc was short of by over 9,700km. so Doc went to space, and didn't even fully leave the atmosphere!
