The inside doesn't necessarily have to have a purpuse, but leaving it empty is just a waste of potential. Designing structure walls and ceilings adds to the whole. Putting chandeliers and small details - even like cobwebs makes a building an actual building. Otherwise its just an outside wall of nothing...

That'd be a fun Easter egg with only a bit of coordination needed.

Love the interior work thus far. When im decorating interiors that feel big and empty, i like to use Glazed Terracotta Ceilings because then that big and empty feeling becomes a sort of awe for the cool designs and bold colors. Stained glass blocks in a cool gradient could also work great.
