I love how docs block choices are just doc, and accepted as normal for him. Diamond ore Redstone wire and scaffolding, dragon eggs for item sorting, copper-blackstone-obsidian-bone blocks-sandstone, all things that take a fair amount more time and effort to collect in quantity than wood or regular stone.

This! One of my favorite parts of Hermitcraft is when the hermits get together just to hang out, show off, and have fun! I'd love to see Doc show the reactions of other hermits like Bdubs, Ren, and maybe Joe, since stuff this epic deserves to be shared!

The suspense while you were explaining how the raid farm is so lag-free... the whole time I was on the edge of my seat, thinking "What's gonna go wrong? How's it going to break the server?" I remember just after doc had blasted out the perimeter, him saying "we will do crazy designs around all the walls" and i thought to myself no way he gets around to doing the walls before the season ends. But HOLY this is way beyond what I had imagined. When this is done it will look breath taking!

I like how last week's Goat Mother had butterfly wings and this week's Goat Mother has wings made of tomato plants. Next we'll have a dragon-winged Goat Mother to symbolize the protecting Ender Dragon of the Perimeter, and who knows what other types of wings might appear next

Yeah, I was wondering about the black screen too, I think it might have something to do with the video runtime as this video and the last are both exactly 1h 23m 22s. Wonder what the significance of that is. We will have to see if the trend continues in the next episode.

Potential solution to your Sweet Spot issue in case it comes up again in the future: could you leave your camera account over the Wither Reactor while you work so that it stays fully entity-loaded and thus destroys the skulls properly while you are working? Also, maybe you should light up the back-side of the Perimeter walls just in case for the future; perhaps you could set up some glow berry vines or glow lichen and bonemeal them to rapidly spread light without looking too unnatural?

The gold really reminds me of Middle Ages European religious art with the gold leaf backgrounds. The effect is honestly so good. Perhaps to make it easier for future murals you can use simple pallets with a little bit of depth (like maybe 5 blocks of variance). That would also create a very ancient monumental feel.

I kinda like a bit of both? It’s really fascinating to see how they hermits play when they aren’t focused on making Content at the same time. I’ve heard a lot of the hermits mention during runs that they are avoiding doing something because its boring for viewers, and I imagine they are also focusing more on what they say/sound like for entertainment purposes. I love all of that, but it’s also very cool to just… see the dungeon run as skillfully as possible!

to fix the issue with skulls accumulating, you could just have something that detects when only a part of the farm is in lazy chunks (like CubicMetre's Infinibore does), and then occasionally loads the skull eaters to get rid of the skulls that built up there

Not to say decked out is bad, but since I've already seen what it looks like the commentary is more than enough, so it turns into perfect background content to listen to.

Death, disease, drought - hand in hand harbingers of a destruction that became so familiar. They settled in the perimeter, and with ample clean water, they slowly begun to heal. But not until they were gifted plump, red tomatoes, by the gracious will of the Goat Mother, did they truly begin to flourish. And with wealth, seemingly inconsequential curiosities can be indulged. They experimented on the tomatoes, developing methods of gene splicing to make them bigger, more spherical, a deep burgundy now from their originally mild cerise. With their cumbersome size, technological progress was necessitated. They grew to appreciate the potential of redstone prowess. The power gave them protection from the cruelly intentioned mobs, and the indifferent whims of disease the same. *Act 2*: With the blessings of the Goat Mother, they had ample time and resources for leisure to become passion. The art they created was revered for generations, immortalising the image of their decorous saviour. Thriving society underpins the creation of art, but historical sorrow is a prerequisite for its eminence. Their prosperity bred hubris, and then a vicious gluttony that was delicately harboured into stringent greed. As history is woesomely cyclical, the goat civilisation had ushered itself grievously close to the waterfalls edge of destruction once again… *The dénouement sets upon them.*

Knowing what happens beforehand makes watching the whole video feel tense. Like an extremely drawn out "Moments Right Before Disaster" from a horror movie. The number of times Doc mentions trying to be "lag friendly" is actually painful

I know this comment is a little late so you might not see it, but i had an idea for a mural. I am sadly not an artist myself, but when you found this place, maybe one of the murals was in tatters and falling away from the perimeter wall. So you took it upon yourself to fix it up and restore it to the best of your abilities, but you wouldn't necessarily have access to what the ancient goat race has access to, or maybe you're not as statically inclined in the lore. So the mural becomes this patchwork amalgamation of ancient art and your best interpretation of what the missing areas should have. I thought that would be a really cool design, and a fun project for you because you would have artistic liberty to fill in the blanks and patch it together. I love your content and your passion for what you do, i always look forward to Fridays because of you. Keep being the awesome humble G.O.A.T of Minecraft

When the door creaks, that's Doc logging onto the server. When the three beats hit later, that is Doc simultaneously creating a farm, collecting the loot from it, and it shutting the server down lol
