3:30 You might not realize, but the "compass school" joke, was a jab at Scar. He (and now mumbo) spent a minute failing that exact same compass location as the one you had trouble with, after which he said he needed a "compass school".

@mozeytown
@mozeytown 7 ай бұрын
It's because the block they need to throw it on has snow layers stacked slightly higher than the blocks around it, so unlike most compass locations, throwing it _toward_ the block (or even curling in Scar's case) won't work, as it will hit the edge of the snow layers and stop or bounce off. It has to be thrown _directly_ onto the block while standing on top of it, something most of the hermits don't generally do with their compasses.

i mean, if he can get all the sand he needs with 5 people in about 1 hour, the total grind would be 5 hours solo - i dont think that would justify duping at all. there are tons and tons of hours spend gathering materials every episode by every other hermit as well ;)
@SnyperMK2000JclL
@SnyperMK2000JclL 7 ай бұрын
@@nilius90I think the biggest thing is that sand is used a LOT, especially by the hermits, in recipes like sandstone, glass and concrete, and even tnt and yet here we are with he game bring over a Decade old and Sand is still finite and unrenewable. Meanwhile a TON of other finite items have been made renewable in some form that can be easily farmed such as redstone, quartz, gravel, blackstone, etc etc. If you want Sand or sand related products you need to go destroy a desert in your world which kind of sucks. Think about Season 7 and Cubs Pyramid, that required a ton of sandstone stairs and other sandy bits and while he set up in a desert he still had to go destroy a massive portion of the community "mining desert" which again kind of sucks especially when it's far away, not huge and/or already mined if on multiplayer.

He never runs out of energy. Next if you feel you have time to loop around the map by taking a path which will let you go circle every singe room once to collect all the treasure. Currently you are missing efficient paths & many rooms which have most chances of best loot. Also make sure to look near the kneeling man's statues legs for treasure and the drip stone area near the tnt room.

Hi Doc, the desert at the end made me think about this... I don't think that duping a non-renewable resource like sand would devalue what you create with it. I feel that the construction of a gravity block duper in itself is kind of a work of art and engineering that would easily make up for any supposed lost value in your final build. But I also think seeing a desert destroyed by the sheer grinding force of 5 hermits working out of necessity is a pretty impressive display of commitment and teamwork the world might have never seen in other circumstances. I've shovelled my fair share of sand in the past and I can definitely appreciate the scale of this, so I think that destroyed desert is also kind of a work of art in its own way. Respect! Loving all the decked out runs by the way 👍

doc, maybe put a bunch of copper under the decked out map? it's always loaded because of tango cam. you'd have to make sure not to get near any redstone, obv

Anyone else from Zedaph's channel hyper aware of Zed's hiding spots in the dungeon? I know where they are and I look to see if I can catch the glimpse of a wild Zedaph.

Having breaks between episodes with actual Hermitcraft stuff, even if just a minute or two, makes the episode much easier to watch than just having it be a solid hour block of Decked Out. I _love_ Decked Out, don't get me wrong, but I mean, since it came out, most Hermits have essentially stopped making Hermitcraft episodes. When the Hermitcraft TCG came out, there was a similar shift in content, but at least it was the _Hermitcraft_ TCG. It's also nice to just get a bit of a breather between runs. Always stay a cut above, Doc!

Seeing that devastated desert was amazing! And builds like Tango's Decked Out also had a lot of hermits pitching in with resources and builds... That's the true power of the hermits!

Most Americans just aren't used to upper wall borders anymore. Ignore their lack of historic, and international knowledge. It looks cool, Doc. Reminds me of the detailed Eastern European wallpaper borders, or manor house/Asian wood detailing since it's done in relief.

From my point of view you should break the pattern of base level of building with some uniquness so it feels more nature like people once lived there. Maybe some roof shapes or change buildings time to time, with wooden shade roofs, you name it 😊 But definitely great work as always

Bobby is an amazing tool, especially for showcasing the perimeter...although I keep having to remind my brain that it's extended render distance plus ridiculously large build, _not_ Doc breaking Minecraft so he gets a higher display resolution than everybody else, rendering a more reasonably sized build in HD. 😅
