If I remember correctly, the centre of the perimeter would be occupied by the Drowned farm right? So instead of making the arena down below, make it high above. Like y=80 or 90. That will allow a good view of the entire perimeter and everything around it.

​​​​@@andrewbloom7694 It probably would be hard to figure out....on the other hand we've got a fanbase that math'ed up the seed based on coordinates of some bedrock in the Nether ceiling...😅 ...on the _other_ other hand, how much of a problem are spoilers these days? If anything, little glances mostly just build hype, and Doc has a pretty consistent upload schedule so it's not like there'd be weeks of speculation before a reveal. There's way more regular livestreaming on the server in the past couple of seasons, yet I rarely hear complaints of spoilers...I assume they have a system in place to warn each other away from any major (potentially disruptive) spoilers. Easy enough to just alert all the game masters that the perimeter is unavailable for a week.

@@enolopanr9820 Youre not supposed to be able to. But using glitched shulkers (the mob, not the boxes) I think there might be a way. However, building an entire arena in the Void would be a technical accomplishment that makes the Arrow Cannon or capturing and moving the Ender Dragon look like child's play. Problem is, although I think it might be technically possible, every time you get shulkers to teleport you cant control where they go, they just teleport randomly. So maybe if you manipulated thousands upon thousands of shulkers to teleport into the Void maybe eventually youd end up with a configuration that MAYBE could be usable, but the amount of time and effort required might very well be on the scale of walking to the Far Lands. Long story short, maybe possible, probably not before the season is LONG since over though. I dont know, the Hive Mind makes a force of nature look weak, so maybe some kook out there will make it feasible.

Great placement for the arena. You should integrate some Easter eggs with it for the perimeter. Maybe some switches, farm status, options for controls in the farm, secrets to send anvils on players, and of course like others have mentioned the arrow of doom.

A really important thing to remember if you’re going to put the arena above a farm is to make sure it is not directly above, or else it will ruin the height map and destroy the rates of the farm.

When I started playing my youngest created a teaching world for me, they'd set up displays with different mobs, followed by a test with with multiple choice questions on signs. It was so cool.

I think the arena should just FLY. Making the arena somewhat high above the perimeter floor and giving it the design of a mechanical flying machine (doesn't need to be an actual flying machine, just need a cool design) will make it fit in with the theme of the Perimeter and furthermore provides a decent amount of area underneath the arena for automation and card shuffling.

Happy birthday to little doccy! It is so fun when the bicycle adventures can begin. My little ones had been practicing with the balance bikes for a while and just last year finally got the hang of pedal-bikes. (It's a little more common, I think, in the US for people to start kids with training wheels, but I think that's a little counterproductive as it doesn't teach them to balance the bike themselves) We haven't been riding lately due to the cold weather but looking forward to new bicycle adventures in the spring

DECK IDEA You can do like Etho and Jevin run a single item type deck focussed on prankster type cards This Will also make losing to bad luck Harder (Sorry if i spell things wrong english is not my first language) Stress deck: it garantys draw or win using yolo, totems and efficency books. Strength: deals unlimtied damage to opponent. Weakness: if you lose a hermit you lost the game. Mumbo and Grian deck: Mumbo does insiane damage and Grian plays tank with 300 hp + Grian takes other hermits effect cards making them weak against Mumbo. Strength: OP duo that could dominante the server with Mumbo dealing a Max damage over 300 hp. Weakness: unlike stress you can lose to chance with Mumbo.

Personally i think building it in a corner would be best? since everyone else plays with a lower render distance having a couple of walls that go off into the distance on bolth sides as well as up into the sky would be super cool. plus if you start loosing you can start up the world eater with minimal damage

I would suggest putting it on some kind of tower or platform so its above other things and you still have a really nice few of the perimeter while playing

I would put the TCG arena on the opposite side of the elevator from your trading hall in the wall. That way that whole floor could be dedicated to all things TCG, and it could still have a good view looking out onto the perimeter

My son was the one who got me into Minecraft. This was years ago, early minecraft days, when he first started to play the game he was just exploring hiding in dirt holes, running away from mobs. He had no idea that crafting was even in the game. As Dad i knew there had to be more to the game, so I did the research and had to learn how to play myself to lead him down a fun path I knew was there. Now we are 10 years later and I am the one still playing and watching Minecraft Videos :)

Inefficient yet silly farms is the Tango thing. Novel ideas is Etho. Hive mind is peak efficiency or scale. Knowing that this season will end in 10 months, is a little demotivating. But it also means there is nearly 40 episodes more to enjoy. And I look forward to that.

Great idea to create a TCG arena. I think you should add a mod to it, I recommend the Random Rule mod. After both players have added their decks to the game they press a button that randomizes a game rule. Possible game rules: - Normal game - Switch places. You play with the opponents deck. You do not get to keep it after the match - Strengths are weird. All strengths reverses, you are strong against classes you normally are weak against and weak against normally strong classes - The floor is lava. All played hermits take 20 damage each turn, both AFK and active hermits - Armour up. All hermits have armour, taking 20 less damage than normal - Cards galore. At the end of each turn you draw 2 cards instead of 1 - Minimal board. You can have only one active and one AFK hermit on the board at any time - Unsafe AFK. Even AFK hermits can be attacked, but takes only half the damage
