In my D&D group, we have three types of players when it comes to dice. We call them the dice dragon (has one to three sets that they guard with intense ferocity), the dice dwarf (collects a lot of dice but they're high-quality dice, like metal or with cool insets), and the dice goblin (QUANTITY, GIMME ALL THE SHINY MATH ROCKS). I'm a goblin. I love diving my hands into a box full of mismatched dice and rummaging through it, and hunting through my hoard for pretty little math gems to use and give people. XD Giving people choice dice from my hoard is a way to say "I like you!" Plus, you never know when you're gonna need a spare d8 or something for a spell, and I like to be the one to be able to go "I gotchu" and hand folks the die they need. For hidden gems of games, I'll always recommend Seasons After Fall, it's a lovely little puzzle platformer with painted landscapes, not too long. Against The Storm is a roguelite city builder that's nice for little 30-minute game sessions, Niche is a fun little strategy game about genetics, Islanders is a puzzle game about making cities on islands, Potion Craft is an alchemist simulator that's in development, and Coffee Talk is a soft visual novel style game about making hot drinks for magical people. For more "mainstream" games I love, Monster Hunter World is always my home game, Armello is a fun little tabletop-type game, Monster Sanctuary is a Pokemon-Metroidvania fun mix, Abzu is a lovely adventure through underwater environments, AER Memories of Old is a low-poly adventure where you can be a bird, and Dorfromantik is a relaxing game where you build landscapes out of random tiles. I'm probably losing points but they're fun games, maybe someone hasn't heard of them X3 *edit* Oh, I almost forgot! Wildermyth! It's a strategy game that plays a lot like watching a D&D campaign. Fun writing, pretty art.

@@retu3510 You're welcome! Granted, this is just the nomenclature my group uses, so I doubt it's wide-spread. X3 Our rogue reminded me of another type he's seen -- the dice witch, who is INCREDIBLY superstitious about their dice and "curses/blessings" that could be laid upon them. Like, a die that rolls too many ones needs to be kept away from the other ones and/or exorcised, or a die that rolls many crits is to be enshrined or used for crucial rolls. We all joke about cursed dice every now and then, but the dice witch is the kind who won't even let a player who consistently rolls poorly TOUCH their dice.

I disagree. I’ve been playing for a few years and I still don’t see the appeal. One set of dice is enough, and you really don’t need more than 4 or 5 of each. If you need to roll more than that, you can pull up a digital roller or borrow dice from others at the table.

Leads attaching to boats is a parity update to match Bedrock edition, just like the music disc being usable with hoppers! Fun fact - pretty much all tile entities are moveable with pistons in Bedrock, including dispensers! 100% TNT drop rate is coming to bedrock too, so legit tunnel bores are totally possible. Not on a docm77 scale I don’t think lol, but it can be done.
@ksdragona_5583

You think they'll add more mobs to boats to match Bedrock? The days of sailing oceans with my donkey and exploring don't quite match the experience of using a chest boat- you can't bring the items with you across continents at the speed of DONKEH.
@FreefallPZ
@FreefallPZ 28 күн бұрын
@@ksdragona_5583they already added that parody.. to bedrock, meaning they removed horse boats n stuff from it because they "don't fit" or something. More likely that they enjoy depriving bedrock players of joy and happiness.
@HalfInt
@HalfInt 25 күн бұрын
Yea, that change was done intentionally. Only small enough entities fit into boat. You can drag donkeys (horses, cows, ..) behind you on a lead, though. Works just fine; the lead never breaks unless they hit an obstacle or you rocket-boost.

Others have said it, but i have to too. The dice collection is a hoarding thing, not a flexing thing. I have 71 sets of them, not because I need or even use them, and not to show off. I just like all the chill different patterns, colors, materials, and other aesthetic elements. Some dice I got for specific events or characters, some for special sentimental reasons, and some as gifts. Some of my favorites are my malachite set, my blood elf set, my "crystal" tumble set, and my Eldritch horror set. I normally only bring 1 or 2 sets to a game, but I have a large leather bag to hold most of them (need a bigger one). And honestly the number of times someone has needed dice, having extra on hand is always nice. I'm sure no one cares, but I wanted to make it known that we're not usually trying to stunt on others or "flex", we just like our shinies and showing them off. Usually we enjoy seeing other sets that are new or unique. But with a hobby like dice collecting, it's worth having uses for them....

Just wanted to chime in and say that Journey is an incredible game and often overlooked. It is very unique in it's experience/gameplay and executes is damn near perfectly. The sound track is INCREDIBLE and adds so much depth to the game. Granted the game isn't for everyone, its relatively short (around 2 hours completion time), and has a relaxed pacing, but all if that sounds up your alley (in addition to looking it up), it is EASILY a 10/10 game, no contest.

Imagine an ender pearl cannon that can shoot through a portal to send the pearl in the nether, than a 2nd portal from nether to overworld a ginormous distance away, where the pearl can go through again. @Wortigon2000
@Wortigon2000 28 күн бұрын
@@stelmaria8991 Doc's enderpearl cannon is apparently not as accurate as one'd like to believe, as Scar didn't land in the same spot Doc did when using it. It might have some spread. Also, 30 million blocks is quite a bit more distance than what anyone would reasonably need. I'd be perfectly fine with let's say, 10-20k blocks in most cases, to feel kind of separated, and would warrant a redstone machine enderpearl cannon thingie to get back and forth between home base and everyone else. Or between farming district and home base. Whatever we want to call it/make of it.

@@disgruntledwookie369 while bubblevators won't work in the nether, due to the lack of water, (unless you're like Scicraft, and somehow brought water in the nether in 1.12 without it disappearing, and it actually functioning properly) I was unaware that slim blocks worked for this too. I was under the assumption that enderpearls would take contact with a slime block as contact with a solid surface, and teleport the player there.

Hearing about the struggle to find Skates is so foreign to me (especially in a metropolitan area like pheonix), I can think of 6 shops within a 10 minute drive that have an extensive selection along with experienced skate sharpeners that get get you a clean edge in less than 10 minutes.... We have bitterly cold winters though.... so yeah... This perspective coming to you from up in MN, I'm guessing the fact that usually no one can play basketball or soccer at a park from late november-late march would be equally foreign to folks in the southwest

On the topic of lots of dnd dice, I have 30+ sets of the same boring matte grey dice with black numbers. Theres two reasons for this, I run a lot of large-scale encounters so I use the dice to represent creatures, secondly if I ever lose a dice or two I'll never know because there are 30+ others to replace them. But I only bring one or two sets when playing.

I can guarantee that if I was into or able to play dnd I would be very annoyed if there was an insane amount of dice. I can kinda understand the desire to collect different dice but I can’t understand trying to use so many at once

Minecraft yeeters can fail if they are in lazy chunks. This may be why your factory broke

As someone with eight zillion dice (about 70 sets collected over years) it’s just a collection like any other!

Nice dice are nice. I only have a few sets of dice but I understand the appeal.

I'm pretty sure that person meant Chants of Sennaar, btw, and that is a very good game.

Legends of Runeterra had a nice update to its PvE mode, it is very fun rogue like deck building mode yeah, it now has some pretty expensive bundles, but they are not necessary for any of the current adventure, and 95% of stuff they contain can be grinded by just playing, the only thing that is exlusive is the 3 champion relics, that are not that important ( the Miss fortune one do be really broken with some champions, but by far not required to win)

Oh yes, this fun fact at 52:35 I’m very well aware of from how many hours I’ve stared at almond trees out of the Amtrak window going halfway across the state multiple times. In early spring.. it’s like snowy trees, with all the almond blossoms. It’s crazy

Machinarium is a beautiful puzzle game. I have no idea if it is available on Steam, but if it is I think you would enjoy the puzzles.

I don't think the minecart unloader is by ilmango. He's just the one who showed it off, but hell if I remember who originally came up with it. Still, glad that you are using it. That makes the factory so much better.

Tango just wanted to give you a suggestion for out there fun games “ bad mojo” from all the way back in 96. All though not a multi player game. It does progress in a way that you and say. Imp & skizz could probably play ( side / side / side and help each other progress). Keep up the fantastic work looking forward to your next video

Neverwinter nights is my all-time favorite game. i spent thousands and thousands of hours playing that game.. legends of cormyr servers and nordoc were the 2 realms i played the most. EDIT I actually have never beat the campaign though. I started playing it again a month or so ago on my steam deck to beat the campaign but controls are to wonky on steam deck.

Tango, could you use a Minecart on a track loop to repeatedly load and unload the chunks in the Redstone farm? This would reload the villagers I believe without needing Nether portals, however I could well be wrong
