If you need specific things from vaults (ores, coins, gear, knowledge, etc.), one of the best ways to farm these things is to build and run architect vaults. For example, in your vault, you said you were looking for coin piles specifically, so to get a lot of coins very quickly without doing a bunch of random vaults, you could create an architect vault with the following on it: - Cove room inscription (can add multiples here, but this will increase the instability very fast, best to start with 1 room and increase the time you have and potential loot from the room before adding more rooms) - A bunch of time/completion increase inscriptions (try to get the vault completion tag to 100% complete if possible to not lose any coins, and allow roughly 10ish minutes per room you add to the crystal to give enough time to loot everything). If the crystal still doesn't have the unmodifiable tag once you reach 100% on the completion tag on the crystal: - Start adding catalysts with the wealthy modifier (ideally without negative modifiers). - Keep stacking catalysts until the crystal becomes unmodifiable or if you're feeling lucky and have enough time on the crystal, add an additional cove room inscription. Once the crystal becomes unmodifiable: - If you have curses on the crystal, use a mote to identify and remove the curses. Finally, run the vault, looting everything you can. The vault will exclusively only be the rooms you added to it via the inscriptions, so in this example it will have only coin rooms (coves) and will give you a lot of coins per room (coves are roughly 2.5k bronze if fully cleared and have no mobs in them making them very easy to get everything). Each type of loot chests/coins/ores has its own modifiers and rooms you want to focus on when creating an architect crystal. (omega = no enemies, challenge = has enemies/spawners) Single types: ornate = armor/weapons, (omega = blacksmith, challenge = x-marks) gilded = jewels, (omega = library, challenge = wild west) coins = coins, (omega = cove, challenge = dragon) living = knowledge, (omega = mushroom) Ores = vault gems/ores, (omega = mine, challenge = crystal cave) Other: Factory = compressed blocks (great way to get lots of blocks like stone, obsidian, soul sand, ancient debris, etc. for crafting crystals, will have mob spawners as it is a challenge room. Painting = a mix of everything (living, ornate, coins, wooden, gilded, ores, etc.). does not have spawners as it is an omega room. Village = 1 of the chest types (living, ornate, wooden, gilded). will have mob spawners as it is a challenge room. Note: Architect vaults don't have an objective or reward crate, they are there to build specialized vaults that allow you to get stuff you need without relying on rng of getting the rare rooms in random vaults. They are also great for completing specific obtain items from vaults bounty quests, e.g. mine a specific ore X times, or obtain Y amount of knowledge essence, etc. Loving the VH content with you and herpner (hypno).

1:09:56 Castles usually did not have many entrances, because it would make them harder to defend. Maybe, instead of another gate, you could make an extra large tower that would be the guards living rooms.
