For the beacon beam. Make a giant room or something with buttons. The idea is that when you need to buy something in the mall and the item you need isn’t there. You press a button and the beacon beam changes colour to the colour of the hermit whose shop needs restocking.

End Crystals can be pushed by slime blocks without breaking or bouncing forward. If you stack enough of them in one spot, you can have an extremely powerful, yet somewhat small explosion. Flying machines can push end crystals. Also, if an end crystal is removed, it explodes. Use this information in the war. You could build end crystal missiles, or you could stack tons of end crystals in one spot(via slime block) in the STAR base. They could leave the end crystals alone, or they could accept their fate and blow them up.

For the beam: If you want to go through the effort and trouble, you can use glass panes that change colour on every block creating a truely rainbow beacon. I quite like doing that on gaming district or circus-esque builds but it might fit a mall

The Mall really comes along, great work! Some ideas: 1. Color of the beam: blue. Matches the color of the water elevators. 2. The pattern of the panes is a bit noisy (the columns of the water elevators). Replace it with glass blocks.

I'd recommend green glass panes on the tops of the entrance water elevators, and red glass panes on the top of the exit water elevators. Perhaps changing the entire tube would be better. Alternatively the ones going down can be green on the top and the ones going up can be green on the bottom.

For storing the wither skeles, you could consider using a small storage pen but an intermediate storage where you pick t hem up into minecarts and then queue them up. The smaller storage pen will help with reliably picking them up into minecarts, and the rail storage would be bulky but easily expandable.

#BrainStorm 1 - keep the beam, possibly make it alter colors on a long clock delay to attract attention of hermits. 2 - slime block Elytra launcher on the side with the dirt path alone, or a soul sand water elevator to a launch off platform at the top. (because who doesn't have Elytra at this point, and if not direct them to your other shop!) 3 - Yes to smooth sandstone on the entrance hole, always feels good... on the whole. 4 - pull the quartz pillars down from the entrance, or transition them to the smooth sandstone. 5 - more dad jokes, silly puns, and / or shenanigans

I have two suggestions for the mall: 1) inside the entrance where those nice A shapes are, maybe change them out for a D E R P, for Derp Mall. It then becomes an "inside" joke. 2) on the sides of the new cyan shaft down, in between the sea lanterns, insert a red T and gold I to represent the mall builders. I think the overall design is good and subtle, nice work! ♪

You could ask Mumbo to make a piston feed tape so you have a beacon beam that periodically changes colours to whatever you want. It can either be fast changes or slow like changing only once a day.

The G-Team base could definitely use a shield that protects it from tnt cannons using water dispensers, maybe even with a glass ceiling that can be covered with water when the shield is turned on...

If you’re concerned with how round the building looks, you could potentially push the bottom layer out one to match the second layer so the bottom is slightly less curved. It would give the building a bit more structural integrity and less “eggy” without losing your architectural vision.

Awesome Tango! About the beam, I'm sure you know this tip (Just to help you Do something about the beam), but rather than using Glass Blocks, you can put Glass Panes in the beam to change the colour without having the chunky blocks sticking out! Hope this helps, loved the video and build!

Tango, before you finish that roof! I think it would look 10 times better if the whole ceiling opened up to about the floor of the beautiful entrance you built. So when you're rideng the watervators, you have a view of the whole of the mall and from anywhere on that toop floor you can look up into the entrance!

The awesomeness of the first beacon (in your base) you did makes the whole rest of the ceiling you haven't finished yet look terrible. New rule, you're only allowed to look at that quadrant of your base till you get the others done :-p

Hey tango, you know there is a enchantment for the trident called "Channeling" what will summon lightning if you throw it a mob during a thunder storm. this can help with your lightning waiting problem!

Great video Tango! Absolutely love the Mall Ball build :) I noticed you were using lower slabs in the charged creeper farm for the wither skele chamber. Mobs won't walk on lower slabs which is why they weren't all running after you when they were pushed in there.

I have a solution for that water going into the base thing: Put a layer of glass or dirt underneath the preexisting glass and then replace the layer of glass you want to be purple. Once that's done, break the layer of dirt below.

Hey Tango, your Wither butts won't move you put them in a 2.5 high gap which stops them from moving about, you can do this as a farm design which makes it semi safe to have a manual farm choice. You need to make the hole 3 high for them to move about themselves.

the bottom half slabs totally confuse all mobs in 1.13. I built a cow farm on slabs and had to push cows together to breed them cus they couldn't breed on there own. Mall is looking great, i still think this is the slowest wither skelly farm possible.

I really like the beam, but I think you should change the color as it goes up so it looks like it's more of a transition to green. If you use glass panes it won't be visible and it will look slightly more natural... slightly :)

What if you did a rotating set of colors for the beacon? Make a piston tape of like purple, green, and yellow glass blocks and slowly rotate the color. Doubles as both decoration and advertising!
