Dig out the blocks adjacent to the rails including the diagonal ones. When minecarts turn corners they clip the corners of blocks and/or other minecarts which changes their momentum. That's causing the slowdown.

A truly epic friend will tell you to log out before you die, run off to get gravity blocks, return to fill in and clear away the lava, then stand by with a water bucket when you log back in.

Oliver Yin spiders still climb up ice. Spiders climb when they collide with the hit box of any block unless there’s a hit box stopping them from going up

Mnhrd I was mostly commenting about the stopped minecart at the beginning. But that might be something with loading and unloading of chunks while a mine cart is at a corner. That it would go unloaded while hovering over the inner corner and when getting loaded thinks it is at the inner rail instead of the outer

Michiel Stikkel, those have been issues for years, nobody at mojang seems to care. The minecart skipping to a new track is most likely because the game read its coordinates, and the minecart was far enough on the other track that it put it on the other track when chunks reloaded.

Hey @Xisuma I know that for me what's given my hopper minecarts loads of trouble has been BATS... bats will fly around and nudge the hopper minecart which makes it go back the other way and do loads of weird schenanigans... Also might do some weird stuff going over chunk borders or being unloaded/loaded.... really they should just make it so bats don't nudge minecarts

You can fix the issue with the spiders by raising the roof of the spawning platform by one and putting a water stream on the ceiling held up by signs. When they spiders climb up the walls, they’ll be moved by the water stream

There is bug involving unloaded chunks that stops the minecarts. Having a dock for the minecarts for when you leave helps. I think the track jumping has something to do with tight corners and the minecarts 'bumping' each other or blocks.

If you were confused the reason why the magic portal linked to mumbo’s portal is because it is the closest portal to where your portal would end up in the nether And the reason why the magic portal does appear where it’s supposed to be is because it is in open air e.g. it floating over a massive lava pool

I have an idea that might improve your mob farm. The spawning platforms for hostile mobs are all active at once. (water is released at the same time) You could make one of the platforms be open for spawning while the other ones have water. Just an idea.
