Wouldn't it be better to have the 0-tick farms drop their items directly into a waterstream? Because the hoppers seem to be the bottleneck for the bamboo farm at the xp shop.
@JustaGuy_Gaming5 жыл бұрын
I think instead of one zero tick farm with 3 stalks of bamboo the set up wold probably work better with 2-3 fuel inputs with only one bamboo. The hoppers/dispensers could keep up better, and you could possibly have them input at different points of the water stream. One of the middle, two at the start, dispensing at the same spot maybe. The main thing is you want the furnaces near the door to work the most, as it's where people coming in will be drawn to.
@SimpleZomb5 жыл бұрын
@@JustaGuy_Gaming Would decrease the load for sure but then the pressure plate technique for checking if all the furnaces have enough fuel X mentioned at the end wouldn't work anymore.
@JustaGuy_Gaming5 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleZomb Well it still could, as long as you keep the water stream in the same direction and just start the feed at the mid point. Alternatively you could also loop the streams around instead of letting the items despawn. The cut off options would be far more complicated though, but at least a more balanced load would be set up.

Your explanation of all the parts was really good and I understood it, but that might have been because I was following the project on both your and ilmango's channels and I saw you build the big brick one before. Before you get to each section, you could explain what the purpose of that section is. So when you were starting the green section you could have said "Now the goal is to trigger the dropper to unload all of the cactus" or something so people would be able to follow that circuit and understand what the goal of it was as it was being built up. Using the glass was a super cool idea. It really helped.

Iskall made a super smelter with a similar feed system. He came across the same clock speed issue and solved it by removing the hoppers from the bamboo farm and had it go directly into the water stream. He also has a furnace repair farm in his base that does what yours does, it just doesn't have the auto fuel as far as I know(because it's older than 1.14)
