The German is a nice change to me; there are some Germanic sub-cultures around Missouri (USA), but they are rather exclusive outside of making money. To hear this is a pleasure. I recently rediscovered a Cajun cook from TV from back when I was a kid, and I don't care much what he's cooking, just the experience of hearing someone who doesn't sound like what I'm used to. It's a mental vacation for me, thank you. Some people think I'm odd for loving so many foreign YT channels or at least people who visit places I've never been, this is part of it. I can't afford travel/vacations, so usually rely on books. These kinds of videos actually work better, just for much shorter times.
