I spent so much time on the Bionicle website as a kid. Hell, I still love these toys! They were hands down the best things about my childhood. The first time I ever got immersed into a world's lore, I still know how to write in the Matoran alphabet. I wish the movies were better, like, I always liked these animation's better than the movies in terms of style. I hope Bionicle gets a better cameo in the next Lego Movie. I appreciate that they cameoed the original Toa, but still, I wanna see them in action.

One morning in preschool or kindergarten, I was being a fussy kid and wouldn't get up. My mom started playing this from the computer (the office was right next to my room) so I come out to see what the music was. I'm 18 now. Im graduating highschool in a few months. Time flies, damn.

There's so much lost Bionicle media... Like this music video. I wish its quality wasn't this bad, lol. But it features so many clips that you just can't find anywhere anymore. Like those stones falling on Takanuva which he then deflects back at his attackers. Or those short flashes of Toa Kaita stone statues. These are simply impossible to retrieve. BioMedia Project doesn't have them. I remember there were also cinematics like Vakama discovering the beached, empty Toa canister. So much has been lost over the years. I wish more of this was archived.

I know that we've got the Bionicle series back. Still, it'll never be the same. It was what, five years ago when Bionicle went on hiatus? Hero Factory destroyed what hope I had left. What kind of hero is built in a factory? How could they pull that, when the Bionicle series felt so complete? There was good. There was evil. I don't want to come across as some sort of hipster, but they did things right back then. Still, I'm not shunning LEGO. I am grateful for what we got, and for its high quality. I'm just not sure why LEGO made that decision.

This was maybe the first music video I watched on YT way back and thought it was the coolest. Honestly Bionicle was the coolest toy/Lego of its time and it saved the Lego company. It’s a shame they tossed them to the wayside when they got really cool with the guys who could fly in 2012 or so.

BIONICLE was the pinnacle of LEGO awesomeness. The sets were intricate and well-balanced, they had unique and colorful designs, and it also had a well-written story. The closest today we can get to that is either Hero Factory (not THAT bad a substitute in terms of sets, but the story...ugh) or Ninjago (somewhat fleshed out story, okay sets).

I thought I was the only one,yeah bionicles story was about robots living in a world like Zelda.Using crabs as transports,feed rahis, discover new secrets,etc. Now on they are about super astromech robots living in a technologic world or fighting in a Colosseum . You know what they should do? Kids won't know about bionicles anymore, so they should release a freeroam RPG bionicle game aimed at teens and up. Not only would it be pretty simple considering the massive world they created, it would also sell well, being a more darker, action-packed, and violent game than bionicle heroes was. They have enough lore to focus a story around several old, or new, characters, and give them powers. I mean, come on, bionicle has got everything you need to make an RPG.
