Don't go with the gimmick of Hero's 5 year warranty. Warranty is only applicable if all the services (free + paid) are done by hero authorized service center. And let me tell you, their service is PATHETIC. They misaligned rear wheel of my bike and overfilled engine oil in it's service. Then I had to do it's alignment by a local mechanic. And I used an injection to suck out extra engine oil 😂. There's even more extra engine oil left and I will get it out.

I am an Owner of Hero Super Splendor Xtec 2023 and the first service in an authorized service center was so pathetic that: 1) They overfilled the engine oil 2) Misaligned rear wheel 3) Pass switch quality is very bad and doesn't work well, they didn't do anything There's also a major problem. Sometimes gears don't downshift, lever is pressed but gear doesn't downshift. But I have discovered a technique, I release clutch a but and then the gear shifts. It's a major problem.

I too have a super splendor bs6 and gear shifting issue can be resolved via proper freeplay and alignment of chain. And every service center in india requires an expert supervision of the owner if you want to get something done properly whether it be hero,bajaj,tvs,yamaha,honda or any other manufacturer.

@@JeetBhaskar That's true. But that's the entire job of service centers to service the vehicles properly and provide peace of mind to owners. Anyways, Could you please tell me if the chain needs to be tightened or loosened up in order to resolve the gear issue? I'll do it myself with the help of your chain adjustment video. Those videos are really helpful.
