Looks like a matured product, for not too flashy people. Love the projector front light, since LED headlights usually has a bad rep when it comes to illumination. The front-right cables could have been differently place, it currently doesn't balance the left side. The abbreviated H for Hero logo everywhere is a little in-your-face.

@@slayerace5637 Obviously, this was never intended for the speed demon kind of rider. This is more laid back, hence the simplistic ancient engine design. The bigger XPulse with a 421/450cc engine is coming soon, hopefully end of this year if not next year. That's basically a rally bike that's being done up to be road-legal. The engine is pretty advanced, much higher compression, shorter stroke, 4 valves, DOHC, Liquid cooling, balancer shaft, Slip-assist clutch, 6 gears with the last one being an overdrive, ride by wire.etc, Hero showcased the architecture few years ago and we've spotted some test prototypes running around with a 19" front and a 21" front. Heck, they could build a Maverick with USDs in the front, mono-suspension in the rear, aluminium swingarm and this engine from the upcoming Xpulse.

Suggestions for improvement: (1) The exhaust tube could be inclined upwards at 3 to 5 degrees to the horizontal rather than being horizontal (2) The pillion seat could be longer by about 50 mm without changing anything else (3) The base model could incorporate tubeless tires with spoke wheels (4) Dual channel ABS be standards on all versions. We haven't seen the headlamp working in the dark -- let them not be as limp as in Hero's other LED headlamp equipped bikes which necessitates installation of auxiliary lamps for serious night riding.

Spoked wheel with tubeless tires are very expensive. Unnecessary even on top models. Instead, a gas charged rear shock for a more plush ride would have been appreciated.

1) Rear half needs to be totally redesigned. 3) Wheel base length needs to be increased by 4.75 inches. 2)Front half seems ok but feels cramped. Distance from riders Seat to Handle bar is cramped . Might be for riders with short length arms. All tourer accessories should be included even if it increases the price little bit. Specs ok.

It really does not look that great. Looks more like a commuter segment bike from most of the angles. You are better off with the Harley. Atleast you have Harley brand. Just look at the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. Gorgeous from every angle.

What people have been complaining about this bike is that.... 1. It doesn't have USD in front. 2. It doesn't have monoshock in the rear. 3. For some, an up swept exhaust. That's it.... Nothing much which Hero couldn't have afforded but then, there wouldn't be anything left for them to update in a couple of years 😂😂 like in the case of Xtreme 160, Next Karizma and now next Maverick 🤦🏻🤦🏻

Still looks messy, but definitely a step in the right direction as far as design is concerned. I'd say it'd take at least a couple more iterations till they catch up to Triumph/Bajaj or RE in design and aesthetic appeal. You wouldn't want to spend all that money to have to wait and see if the design grows on you.

Clean, discreet, mature looking bike with a good engine without hideous plastic fairings. Seems a good choice for riders past 30 years. Thank God, Hero didn't go the ugly Apache 310 rtr route.

Thanks for bringing in the real world reviewer footage- I'd say it looks much better in the video than the one at the launch and seems well finished (Honda CB300 vibes). As an enthusiast, if I had to make a choice between this and a Harley, I'd take this one knowing that most of the underpinnings are shared with the (faux) Harley motorcycle, will be cheaper and the styling is more proportionate and easy on the eye. To add the service network for a Hero would be better (not sure HM services the HD X440). Though I wish the exhaust was in tune with the up-swept theme of the upper rear section.

It looks like 790 or 800 mm seat height. You try it to know it. I think you can manage if you can manage other bikes. Don't worry much about the height. If you have the skill, seat height is never an issue.👍🏽

Not at All, I have 2017 dominar slightly self modified by adding 3 inches height to front shocks. It has been 6.5 years Not a single day has passed without people admiring MY DOMINAR. See in my 27 episodes. 😊 Moreover 27bhp vs Dominar 40 bhp is incomparable😊😊

Cannot understand why no manufacturer gives twin-pod instrument console. Mid-set foot pegs directly below hip are best. Twin rear shocks is okay for classic bikes like Jawa or Bullet, but not for this

hmm design-wise I felt it does not make a mark. When manufacturers want to move to middle-weight segment bikes it's an expectation from customers that their bikes look a little different, appealing, and distinct. Like RE, Jawa, Triumph, x440, and Duke are easily identifiable in a glance. So design-wise I think it's nice but not distinct. Rest the sales numbers will tell us if people like it or not. I see some good things here but I think this is still not their best so maybe this is the bike from which they will learn and grow more to create an even more appealing product. So not a let down I think.

The headlight could have been slightly bigger looking at the tank size. I would have preferred it to be a bit more retro looking if you make a bike with round headlight. Also the rear Murdguard should have been a bit low making it a 70 percent retro + modern mix. For example CB 350 Rs, that bike can beat RE classic as well as modern bike by it looks. They balanced it in such a way, it neither looks very fancy like a 125 cc sport bike nor look like a 1800 Ad Rajdoot lookalike bullet. Obviously my opinion is subjective but that's how i see the future of bikes. Overall a really good looking bike.
